Is an RV really useless for people who travel frequently?

As the travel time increases and the locations increase, you will find that many of the seemingly useful configurations in RVs are rarely used in actual travel.

1. Television

From the moment it appears in the home, television has occupied the position of the first furniture item. The main seat of the living room in a family must be the TV. In the past, all the furniture in the living room was placed around the TV. When we moved from our home to our RV, we kept this tradition alive. But when you travel, you will find that the beautiful scenery is really better than TV, and the bonfire and night sky at night are far more interesting than TV.

2. Air conditioner

Air conditioner is also a must-have configuration in the home. Its function of being warm in winter and cool in summer can instantly double the happiness of the family. Likewise, the feeling of being warm in winter and cool in summer is also very popular in an RV. But everyone overlooks one thing, the use of RV is outdoors. Due to the heat island effect, the temperature in the city will be several degrees higher than the surrounding temperature. However, most general camping sites are in the woods, riverside and other places, and the use of exhaust fans is sufficient. As for winter, the RV has a dedicated heating system, and the air conditioner only serves as an auxiliary function. And because most air conditioner outlets are on the top of the car, it is difficult for warm air to blow into the lower space.

3. Stove

The stove mentioned here refers to the gas stove or induction cooker inside the RV. In Europe and the United States, most cooking involves boiling and frying. When we cook, we stir-fry and fry, which makes a lot of fumes. Because of the differences between Chinese and foreign food cultures, it is not so easy for us to use the wonderful stoves used by foreign friends. The best solution is to cook outside the RV and directly solve the fume problem.

4. Sofa bed

When many people buy an RV, the most important thing they consider is how many people will sleep on it? In fact, when you actually travel in an RV, you will find that there are really only two people living there, and you won’t let anyone else live there. The reason is very simple. The space inside the RV is small and there is basically no privacy space. Even when eating, you have to touch your legs, which is really inconvenient for people who are not particularly close. The sofa bed, which looked infinitely beautiful, was shelved indefinitely because of the "particular trouble" of deforming it. As time went by, the table became full of various items and I became even more reluctant to move it.
