It is more troublesome to go to Weizhou Island from Guilin. You have to go to Beihai from Guilin first. The traffic here in Beihai is underdeveloped. There is a plane from Guilin, but it seems more expensive. By train, there is no direct train to Beihai at present. You must first go from Guilin to Nanning, and then transfer from Nanning to Beihai. But note that there are only two trains from Nanning to Beihai every day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. If you miss it, it's gone.

From Beihai to Weizhou Island, it is by boat. After returning to Beihai from Weizhou Island, you can fly to Sanya and return to Chongqing.
