The United States will ban all citizens from going to North Korea?
According to official statistics of the United States, in the past 10 years, at least 17 American citizens were detained by North Korea, and at least 3 others were still held in Korean prisons. On June 19, the family of Otto Warmbier, an American college student released from North Korea, announced that Warmbier died that afternoon. Warmbier was in a coma when he was released in June 13.
Warmbier, a 22-year-old student from Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, traveled to the DPRK with a tour group from 20 15 to 12, and was arrested by the DPRK for engaging in hostile activities against the DPRK. 20 16 in March, the supreme court of the DPRK sentenced Warmbier 15 for conspiracy to subvert the state.
