Where is the tourist area of Xingdao Lake?

Xingdao Lake Tourist Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Xingdao Lake Tourist Area is located in the northwest of Beihai City, about 40 kilometers away from the urban area, and its northeast and northwest are adjacent to Lingshan and Qinbei District of Qinzhou City respectively. The lake area is 66 square kilometers, and the lake area within Hepu accounts for about two-thirds. Because it was formed in hilly and mountainous areas, the terrain is undulating and there are many islands. There are 1026 islands in the lake, and more than 1000 islands are scattered on the green water and blue waves like bright stars, hence the name Star Island Lake. 1996 was awarded as a tourist resort in the autonomous region, a national water conservancy scenic spot by the Ministry of Water Resources in 2002, and a provincial-level eco-tourism demonstration zone in 20 18. It has been declared as a national 4A-level tourist scenic spot and is awaiting acceptance.

1996 CCTV 98 version of the large-scale TV series "Water Margin" was filmed here, leaving two shooting points in the east and west, commonly known as the Water Margin East Scenic Area and the West Scenic Area. The East Scenic Area mainly includes Juyitang, Wangta, Shuizhai Sanguan, Wenshuyuan, Shuihu Statue and Liangshan Houzhai. The West Scenic Area mainly includes Yongjinmen, Pagoda of Six Harmonies, Stone Arch Bridge, Suzhou-Hangzhou Water Street and Water Margin Story Statue. The whole "Water Margin City" has become a hot spot in Beihai tourism.
