The origin and introduction of Songshan

Yidu Songshan Scenic Area is located in Gaobazhou at the intersection of the Wanli Yangtze River and the 800-mile Qingjiang River. The scenic area has rich vegetation, secluded valleys and dangerous gorges, quiet springs, quiet rocks, and entangled clouds and fog. It is known as : "A paradise for plants, a paradise for animals, and an oxygen factory for humans." Songshan is named after the Song Dynasty girl who was promoted to immortality. It is also famous in history because Zhang Fei practiced cavalry here. Song Taizu Zhao Kuangyin inscribed a "holy" plaque on the Buddhist temple.

Bamboo appreciation: Bamboo in Songshan is a major feature of it. There are Nan bamboo, Osmanthus bamboo, Gang bamboo, pink and green bamboo, early garden bamboo, Luo Han bamboo, purple bamboo, Mao bamboo, etc. Dozens of varieties. Therefore, traveling to Songshan and appreciating bamboo has become an indispensable activity. Behind Faquan Temple, which is more than 300 meters above sea level, there is a continuous patch of bamboo of more than 50 acres, with an average height of 10 to 25 meters. It is evergreen all year round, beautiful and tall, and does not wither despite frost and snow. It stays in the south for four seasons. Mao is the "bamboo sea" of Songshan.
