What is the structure of Lijiang murals?

Lijiang murals have a high level in composition, layout, lines and colors. For example, the Tathagata of Dabaoji Palace. Tathagata Zhu Yi is seated in the center, with 18 statues listed on it, Taoist immortals painted on both sides, three protectors of Lamaism painted in the center, and four heavenly kings painted outside, totaling more than 100 statues.

These statues are a wonderful religious painting, which combines the figures of Buddhism, Taoism and Lama, with distinct levels, harmonious movements, bright colors and vivid figures.

In Dadingge, not far from the northeast of Dabaoji Palace, the Tibetan Buddha painted on the east wall of the main hall holds a naked goddess, and the picture has a strong secular atmosphere. The "Shuiyue Guanyin" on the north and south walls of Daxiong Hall is painted with manjusri, Pu Xian, Guanyin, Dadong and other Buddha statues, which are shaped like a landscape figure painting with Shuiyue marble as the lining.
