Where is Ordos, Inner Mongolia?
Ordos means "numerous palaces" in Mongolian and is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Located in the southwest of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, in the hinterland of the Ordos Plateau, with a total area of ??87,000 square kilometers, Ordos belongs to the north temperate semi-arid continental climate zone, with large changes in winter, summer, cold and heat. [2] As of 2018, Ordos has 2 districts and 7 banners under its jurisdiction, and the municipal government is located in Kangbashi District. In the twenty-sixth year of Qin Shi Huang (221 BC), Qin Shi Huang unified China and established counties in today’s Ordos. In the 33rd year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1907), the Qing Dynasty established Dongshengtang in the eastern reclamation area of ??Zuizhong Banner in Ordos; on December 28, 1949, the Yimeng People's Autonomous Committee was renamed the Yimeng People's Autonomous Government of Suiyuan Province, and the People's Government of the Great Lakes Special Administrative Region was established in the original County Wang Qihuoluo was established. On April 30, 2001, with the approval of the State Council, the IK Zhao League was officially renamed Ordos City. [6-7]

[11] There are scenic spots such as Genghis Khan’s Mausoleum, Jiucheng Palace, Ordos Grassland, and Khan’s Palace. [12]
In November 2018, Ordos was selected into the top 100 comprehensive well-off cities in China. [13-14] In 2021, the GDP of the Ordos region was 471.57 billion yuan.
