Jiulongtan is one of the most famous scenic spots in Taining, Fujian.

The original name of Jiulongtan is Huanglonggang. It is named Jiulongtan because there are nine winding mountain streams flowing into the pool. It is located in front of Xialankeng Village, Chongji Village, between the upper and lower docks of Shangqing River, the "No. 1 Floating River in East China", on the right side of Shuangru Peak, adjacent to the north side of Zhuangyuan Rock, about 10 kilometers away from Taining County. The landform is roughly the same as that of Dajin Lake, and both are Danxia Lakes composed of Danxia landforms.

Jiulongtan has a radius of 15 kilometers, a pool surface of about 120 acres, a water surface of about 5 kilometers, a widest point of about 130 meters, and a narrowest point of less than 1 meter. The main attractions include Feilong Cave, Cuihua Stream, Golden Monkey, Gaoxia Pinghu, Grand Canyon, a line of sky on the water, valleys and water alleys and more than 60 places, all of which are rare scenery in Danxia landform.
