Have you ever been to Laos? What impressed you most about Laos?

Because of the need of China-Laos Railway's construction work, I often go to Laos, and I like the tourism environment in Laos very much. Laos is an almost forgotten country, where Buddhist culture is particularly popular, and most of the tourism resources still retain the embryonic form of the original ecology. Traveling to Laos feels particularly quiet. I will summarize my impressions of Laos in the past few years from the following aspects:

0 1 Quiet Country Laos is a quiet country. It takes one and a half hours from Kunming to Vientiane Wadai International Airport in Laos. When I got off the plane, a heat wave hit my face, dazzling blue sky and white clouds, but the temperature of more than 30 degrees was basically acceptable. I took a taxi to Vientiane City and found it too quiet. I need to speak softly so as not to destroy the original atmosphere. The phoenix flowers blooming all the way are particularly enchanting, and it feels particularly comfortable to drive on the tree-lined path.

Laos has a weak industrial base, and there is no roar of machinery and no discharge of industrial waste liquid and waste gas. Although the cities in Laos are not as well planned as domestic civilized cities or sanitary cities, they are still quite clean, showing natural peace and tranquility.

Laos, a Buddhist country, is a typical Hinayana Buddhist country in Southeast Asia. Most Lao residents believe in Buddhism, and about 80% Lao people believe in Buddhism and spread it to the south. The Buddhist culture in Vientiane, the capital, and Luang Prabang, the ancient capital, is most obvious. There are temples in cities and villages, and people's beliefs live in harmony under the guidance and influence of Buddhism. Vientiane is a famous Buddhist tourist attraction, including Tuluan, Jade Buddha Temple and Xixian Temple.

Luang Prabang is the ancient capital of Laos, with the most beautiful and numerous temples in Laos, and many temples built at that time are still preserved today. In this small town with an area of less than 10 square kilometer, there are more than 30 resplendent Buddhist temples.

Luang Prabang, as the ancient Buddhist capital of Southeast Asia, has traditional Buddhist charity activities that have lasted for thousands of years. Local residents participate in charity activities with piety, and many tourists will join charity activities with curiosity. The ever-changing charity scene has also become a must-experience project for every visitor who comes to Luang Prabang.

A lazy country Laos is a lazy country. A real Laos, a slightly lazy place, can't see passers-by in a hurry. No matter in the streets, residents live a leisurely life, their faces are full of happiness, and everyone's satisfaction is strong. Although their income is not high, they enjoy their present life very much.

It is said that Laos is the only country in Southeast Asia where there are no beggars. People who are homeless and have no food can go to temples to eat. Perhaps it is precisely because of the influence of Buddhist culture that the peaceful and peaceful mentality of the Lao people makes them no longer have strong self-motivation and tireless pursuit of life.

Laos, a colonial cultural country, was colonized by France. Influenced by French colonial culture, Laos learned to pursue romance and enjoyment, even if they had no money.

French restaurants and European-style buildings can be found everywhere in Luang Prabang, Kan Moun, Pakse and other provinces. Luang Prabang is the best preserved historical building in Southeast Asia, with nearly 700 valuable ancient buildings in the province. French Street has become an important tourist attraction in various cities.

Every day, many blond European and American tourists come to French Street, drinking Lao beer in front of French restaurants and lighting their favorite West Point, where they can enjoy a leisurely and slow time.

Original ecological country Laos is an original ecological country. 80% of the territory is mountainous and plateau, mostly covered by forests, with beautiful scenery. The original natural scenery has become an important tourism resource in Laos.

Laos Wanrong is such an ideal paradise. The mountains on both sides of the Songnan River are surrounded by clouds, which is a bit of Guilin landscape. This is a completely natural natural landscape, without any elaborate and artificial processing, and is called "Small Guilin" by China tourists.

Guangxi Waterfall in Luang Prabang is even compared to "Little Jiuzhai in Laos". Deep in the mountains, this is the closest way to nature. The waterfall in the scenic area has a drop of about 100 meter and a width of 45 meters. Divided into three grades, the blue water is crystal clear. The most attractive place here is diving, standing on a crooked-neck tree and having a close contact with waterfall water. However, it should be reminded that there is no security officer in the whole park, so we should do what we can.

Friendly country Laos is a very friendly country. When traveling in Laos, there are always oncoming Laotians who put their hands together and say "Sabaidi" (meaning "hello" in Chinese) to bring cordial greetings. Old people and children are used to this kind of greeting.

What impressed me most was driving in Laos. The roads in Laos are very narrow, but the drivers in Laos are particularly friendly. Generally speaking, Lao drivers don't honk their horns on purpose. When overtaking, they will kindly turn on the turn signal to remind you that you can overtake, especially to obey the traffic laws. This should be recognized as friendliness by people who have been to Laos.

A poor country Laos is a poor country. This mysterious country, I knew Laos was poor before I came. But the poverty level in Laos is beyond my expectation. As a person born in the 1970s, I have never experienced such poverty and backwardness.

In some rural areas in northern Laos, there are still many children who can't afford to pay the tuition fee of 50,000 kip (equivalent to RMB 40 yuan) and drop out of school. Even if "excellent" young people work in cities, the salary of working in Vientiane, the capital, is only about 2 million yuan (equivalent to RMB 1600 yuan) per month, which is not enough for young people to spend, so Laos can't save any money at all, let alone help them support their families.

This is the real Laos I see! what do you think?

Everything is fine. Let me tell you something bad. Laos, a country, takes a day by boat to Beibin. The consumption level in both places is quite high. Two meals and two bottles of beer 150-200 RMB, but there is nothing in infrastructure, just like the village! It is the main waterway from Qingkong in Thailand to Luang Prabang in Laos! According to the consumption of Vientiane, the consumption here is 2-3 times the price of Vientiane! Twice as much as Luang Prabang! Luang Prabang City is relatively good, with simple urban buildings and a must-see waterfall in Guangxi, which is very beautiful!

The food was cheaper, but I ate Sichuan food from China, which was delicious. Two cauliflowers in one meal 1.3 million! The price is about RMB 100! Compared with the sun, the price of Beibin is absolutely cheap! However, there will be many places where the cost of eating is twice that of the locals! Even more! This is not good, it seems like Nha Trang, Vietnam! Let's start with Wanrong Small Guilin. There are many foreigners here, most of them are Koreans, and there are also many tour groups in Hangzhou and South Korea, so Wanrong's consumption is also very high! I'm staying at Binjiang Hotel, and the price is OK, more than 200 yuan a night! However, the scenery in Small Guilin is still worth seeing, and there are many water sports. You can see speedboats and the like early in the morning, and people are making noise. This is not the characteristic of China people, nor is it Korean! I didn't play. I lay in the hotel for two days. It's hard to come to Wanrong by car. Luang Prabang to Wanrong took 4-5 hours. Bump and bump! Vientiane, the capital of Laos, has significantly normalized consumption! Three dishes generally cost 60,000-70,000 old jeeps! Obviously much more reasonable! Then there is a smoking area sign (in Chinese) outside Laos airport. Never smoke there again. Look carefully at the signs with small arrows on both sides. Look with a magnifying glass! This is the pit! Unfriendly label, the real smoking area is far away on both sides! There is no sign, there is a trash can! Attention, if you smoke under the sign, congratulations on spending 400 thousand! Ok, let's stop here! If you want to consult, I can write privately!

Although there are not many places to go in Laos, I have no experience of being slaughtered. Laos is a very poor country in the impression of China people, so that people can't eat. Although I thought life in Laos was very hard before, I found that the consumption level was not high and the conditions were somewhat poor after I went there, but it was not as good as I thought. Vientiane is the quietest country I have ever been to, and the real Vientiane may not be what you think. I hardly see pedestrians on the streets of Vientiane. Although there are some, compared with other countries, the capital here is really incredible.

Last month, I just went to Luang Prabang, Laos, a quiet town. The Mekong River flows quietly and the scenery is like heaven.

Laos has been to Laos three times, once by car, once by punching in and once with a group. For me, a veteran of Southeast Asia, Laos is a land of treasure, which is worth savoring slowly ... Most young people probably don't like this slow-paced tour, but believe me, once you have been there, you will find your own quiet zone ~

What attracts me in Laos is the harmonious and quiet atmosphere, full of religious sense, which makes you feel less noisy and less competitive, and some just feel the nature and life. What I said may be a little mysterious. Friends who may have been to Tibet, Seda and Sri Lanka don't agree with me, but after all, their personal experiences are different. Laos gives me the feeling that it is very relaxed and I don't have to think about going abroad to play hi. Relaxing may be another kind of income ~

I remember giving alms early in the morning, because I didn't dare to look up at the monk when the glutinous rice was finished. I remember closing my eyes under the waterfall in Luang Prabang, and the cool wind blowing across my face was mixed with water mist. I still remember the feeling of swimming in a kayak on the river in Wanrong. In Vientiane, the capital of Laos, everyone came out for a walk in the evening, and the wind was light and the clouds were light, and it was peaceful. Too much ~ just one week, from Luang Prabang to Vientiane, just experience it quietly.

In addition, if you like shooting, there is a very large live-fire shooting range with reasonable price and worth experiencing ~

Glad to answer your question!

I have been to Laos once by motorcycle. Laos generally gives me the impression that it is a poor and backward Buddhist country with a vast territory and fewer people and more trees.

I. Region

Laos has 17 provinces and 1 municipality directly under the central government. Laos can be roughly divided into three regions: upper Liao, middle Liao and lower Liao.

Second, geographical location.

Laos covers an area of 236,800 square kilometers. Laos is a landlocked country in the northern part of Indochina Peninsula, bordering China in the north, Cambodia in the south, Vietnam in the east, Myanmar in the northwest and Thailand in the southwest. Laos is 80% mountainous and plateau, and most of it is covered by forest, so it is called "the roof of zhina".

Third, climate.

Laos has a tropical and subtropical monsoon climate, with the rainy season from May to 10 and the dry season from10 to April of the following year, with an average annual temperature of about 26℃.

Fourth, play

It is also a good choice to visit the night market, Hongxiang Temple and Xiangtong Temple in Luang Prabang, listen to the chanting, punch in at the holy land of waterfalls in Guangxi, watch the sunset by the Mekong River, hike by the Nankang River and have afternoon tea in the bamboo house. Elephant Village, Palace and dempsey Mountain look around the ancient city.

Finally, I attach a photo of Laos riding a motorcycle, please enjoy it!
