Travel Guide to West Beijing What are the fun attractions in West Beijing?

Between the mountains and rivers of Guangxi, China and Vietnam, there is such a small border town called Jingxi. It is independent from the world and as beautiful as a peach blossom garden. What are the interesting attractions in this border town? The editor will introduce it to you below. Come and take a look.

Quyang Lake

Quyang Lake is a large karst plateau lake reservoir located 28 kilometers northwest of Jingxi County. It is surrounded by mountains and rivers and is known as Guilin on the water.

The most common ways to visit Quyang Lake are by boat, car or bicycle. Tickets are 60 yuan/person. We originally planned to ride around the lake, but when we arrived at the scenic spot, we were told that the rental staff was on holiday that day and could not rent a car.

So we did something that few people would do: - hike around the lake.

Love Waterfalls and Goose Spring

On the bus to the Aibu Waterfalls, because the bus could not reach the scenic spot, the driver told us in his gentle voice before departure that the intersection where we got off the bus was Walking one kilometer you can see the Ebu Falls.

The Ai Bu Waterfalls have not been developed into a scenic spot, and the paths are overgrown with weeds. In terms of scenery, it is naturally better than Detian Waterfall. But precisely because of this, unlike many scenic spots, there are more tourists than locals.

The house at the foot of the mountain, with golden rice fields in front, is filled with smoke. There are young people driving motorcycles and farmers going out to do farm work on the road. I will unconsciously think of Tao Yuanming's "Peach Blossom Spring".

Gulong Mountain Canyon Group

Because the train was delayed for 5 hours, it was already late at night when we arrived in western Beijing. The original plan of going to Dalongtan to watch the sunset in the evening was ruined. Take a stroll on a cool evening and comfort yourself with some BBQ fried rice noodles. Get up early the next morning, take a tricycle to the South Bus Station, take a shuttle bus to Hurun Town, and get off at the intersection of Gulong Mountain Canyon Group and Tiantong Grand Canyon.

Gulongshan Canyon Group consists of Gulao Grand Canyon, Xinling Grand Canyon and Xinqiao Grand Canyon. At the intersection where you get off at the scenic spot, most tourists raft through Yingbin Cave, Baifu Cave, and Shuiliandong Cave.

I chose a very niche hiking route, so niche that I was the only one walking this route. A conductor and a driver from the scenic area drove me there, and then opened the iron gate and let me go hiking. Go down the steps to the canyon and exit at Momofuku Cave.

Walking along the plank road by the river, you will see the original Fujiyan River all the way. You arrive at the entrance of Water Curtain Cave when you see a beautiful waterfall hanging down from the cliff. Shuiliandong has about two to three kilometers of underground rivers and plank roads. Walking for half an hour in an isolated underground cave, with only bats in the dark and cold, was really a bit scary. Exiting the cave entrance is the end of rafting, and the car ferry will return you to the entrance of the scenic spot.

Psychic Grand Canyon

Among the scenic spots in western Beijing, the tickets for Tongling Grand Canyon are the most famous and the most expensive. Personally, I think the price/performance ratio is relatively low. It's two kilometers away from the intersection where you get off. Ten yuan hooked up with a rafter in Gulongshan Canyon and took away his motorcycle. After entering the scenic area, go down the steps to the bottom of the canyon. Not far along the river, you can see waterfalls flowing down the cliff. You can also walk along the plank road to the cave inside the gable. The roar of the waterfall is deafening, and you'll get wet if you're not careful. The return journey is through the underground cave and then takes a shuttle bus back to the entrance of the scenic spot.

Quyang Lake Cycling

The online guide said that there are relatively few shuttle buses to Quyang Lake and the time is not fixed. I really want to go to Quyang Lake. After getting along with the hotel front desk, I actually found a rental bicycle. This is probably a benefit brought by local tourism and cycling.

So I planned to ride 26.4 kilometers from Jingxi to Quyang Lake, then ride 30 kilometers around the lake, and then ride back to Jingxi. I think I was really too young and naive. I thought I had the experience of riding 200 kilometers in a single day, and now I can ride 100 kilometers. It ended up costing my ass dearly.

After unremitting communication efforts, I found a bicycle from the hotel warehouse, but it was still a mountain bike with gears. You must have been lonely for a long time, and finally met me today. Pushing my bike around to find a garage, I stood up

I spent $30 on a boat ride to let the poor donkey rest. There are peaks and forests in the lake, eyes in heaven, and butts in hell. After landing, I gritted my teeth and continued riding on the road. It was hot and my butt was sore and sweaty. I kept wandering, confused, and hesitant, but finally completed the trip around the lake.

I would like to take this ride in Quyang Lake in the west of Beijing. First give me youth and passion, first give me beautiful scenery, first give me a sore butt and a tanned face. One day, I won't be able to ride such a long distance, so I can only drive or take a car, and give today's experiences and memories as gifts to my future self.

From 010 to 1010, I left the Aibu Falls group. I originally wanted to take the path to Erlang Waterfall, so I asked the local villagers for different paths. So I went along the highway to Renzhuang Township, which is 2 kilometers away, and then turned back to Jingxi City. On the way, I passed by Jiuzhou Ancient Town and took a look.

When the strategy was formulated before, the general evaluation was not very high. Since it is a local vehicle, you can go in without buying a ticket. Most of the buildings in the ancient town are new, and the bluestone roads have turned into cement roads. Due to limited time, I hurried back to the city after the tour.
