Is it possible to travel by hitchhiking in China?

Someone has done this before. Two buddies took a ride from Beijing to travel to Europe. It was published in "Outdoor" magazine.

But pay attention to a few points:

First, hitchhiking is not very reliable. It requires patience, luck, and time. And not all rides are free.

Second, for an erratic itinerary, you have to consider accommodation issues, safety issues and sanitation issues. In the final analysis, it is still a question of money.

Third, if you are a girl, safety is very important. If you are from anywhere, you must make others feel that you are safe.

Fourth, you need to prepare a lot of things with you. I will not list them all for now. If you have no experience in long-distance outdoor travel, you will be scared.

Fifth, this trip also requires careful planning and arrangement. And the money you need to prepare and the money you may spend will not be less than if you go directly. But hitchhiking is more of an experience in life and a way of traveling, rather than the cheapest way. Unless you like and adapt to the wandering life.

Six, why do you want to go to Tibet? Are you going to Tibet just for the sake of going to Tibet? You figure this out.

Seven, without the support of parents, this method is to run away from home, not to travel.
