1, Joint Staff

The General Staff Department is one of the scenic spots in the ancient city of Taierzhuang. It was built in the 22nd year of Qing Emperor Kangxi. This is an official building. It is the authentic General Staff Office of the Qing Dynasty, maintaining the engineering defense of the canal and the public order of water transportation, equivalent to the current police station, commanding more than 600 military forces. 1937, the national government set up Taierzhuang police station here.

2. Xie tea shop

Xie Tea House, formerly known as Suhang Tea House, was built by Zhejiang tea merchant Shen Qi in the tenth year of Yongzheng (AD 1732). Shen Qi has a hundred acres of tea garden, and relies on the Taierzhuang Canal to facilitate water transportation, selling tea and opening a teahouse in Taierzhuang. In the seventh year of Xianfeng (1857), Xie Zhengan, a Huizhou tea merchant, bought Suzhou-Hangzhou Tea House and changed its name to Xie Tea House. Xie Tea House was once the first of the six major tea houses in Huizhou.

3. Chuanjie

Chuanxing Street is one of the landmark buildings after the transformation of Taierzhuang ancient city. Not only does it look like a huge ship, but the wooden carvings of the doors on both sides of Chuanxing Street are all in the shape of a ship. There are 468 ships with beautiful appearance and unique functions. The symbolic Chuanjie is the embodiment of the concept of "creating the past" in the transformation of the ancient city.

4. Taierzhuang War Relics Park

Taierzhuang War Relics Park has preserved 53 relics of World War II, showing the witness of war and peace. It has not only become a cultural relic, but also a symbol of human cultural heritage. It is precisely because of these relics that the reconstructed ancient city of Taierzhuang has a historical foundation.

5. Daosheng Winery

Daosheng Winery was built in Qingganlong for five years (1740) and rebuilt on the original site in 20 10. It is planned to be the Canal Wine Culture Experience Hall.

By reappearing brewing workshops and techniques, the origin and development of wine, customs and beliefs of wine were introduced, and the rich and colorful canal wine culture was displayed. Taierzhuang is prosperous because of good luck. In the heyday of Kanggan, there were more than a dozen wine shops in the city, and all kinds of fine wines produced in other places also gathered in Taierzhuang for sale through the canal. For a time, there were countless restaurants and hotels.
