When traveling to Tibet, do you prefer self-guided tours or group tours? Why

I prefer self-service. My dream of going to Tibet with my best friend in 2008 finally came true. The cost of a self-guided tour is slightly higher than that of a group tour, but it’s more fun to be free. I share my experience with you, hoping it will be helpful to you.

There are four of us, two men and two women, so it is more convenient to rent a car. First, I took a plane to Lhasa, got off the plane, and rented a Toyota Domineering SUV there. I agree with the driver. Master S accompanies the whole process and costs 1,400 yuan per day. The first stop was to Linzhi to take pictures of peach blossoms.

This way you can arrange your own itinerary. On the day we took photos of Ranwu Lake, everyone wanted to leave early to take photos of the sunrise. We made an appointment with the driver in advance and arrived at our destination before dawn. Just perfect for taking pictures of the sunrise.

I remember that the weather was very good when we arrived at Namjagbarwa Peak. Everyone wanted to take a photo of the golden mountain in the sun on Namchagbarwa Peak. We had a great time and went home. It was already after nine o'clock. When I came down from the snow mountain, it was already 7 o'clock in the evening, but everyone was happy.

There is also Lulang. I heard that the stone pot chicken there is particularly delicious. We just got there at noon. We ordered a chicken, which was a big pot full and delicious. The two of them also drank half a catty of liquor and enjoyed the delicious food.

Tibet has snow-capped mountains surrounded by white clouds, glaciers that remain unchanged all year round, mountains and rivers that look like oil paintings, crystal-clear lakes, Mani stone piles that can be seen everywhere, and wind horses that can be seen everywhere. The flag spreads scriptures to the sky. These need to be savored slowly.
