General situation of Baisha

Baisha town is located in the west of Chongqing, near the Yangtze River. It is the first national deep-water port in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, and also the economic, cultural, commercial center and transportation hub in northern Guizhou and western Jiangjin. It covers an area of 238 square kilometers, with a total population of 6.5438+0.4 million, and the population of the main city is nearly 6.5438+0.00 million. ① Ancient Town Scenic Area

Ancient Town Traditional Block Scenic Area: Located in the east of Baisha City, facing the Yangtze River in the north and mountains in the south, many traditional houses, some temples and western-style foreign-style buildings are left behind. The bluestone pavement is winding, and there is a hole deep in the alley. People live and work here, and the neighborhood is close, with a strong local flavor and heavy historical precipitation that is unforgettable.

The unpretentious architectural style, pleasant street space, vicissitudes of diaojiao building, unique natural environment, beautiful and pleasant scenic spots, rich history and culture, and simple folk customs of the traditional block of the ancient town are all important components of the landscape elements of Baisha ancient town.

(2) Heishishan Scenic Area: Located about 3km south of Baisha Town, it is a Chongqing-level scenic area. Blackstone Mountain was selected into the Dictionary of World Scenic Spots published in the United States half a century ago and included in the American Travel Dictionary. Blackstone Mountain has a unique natural landscape and rich cultural landscape. From the peak of Pingchou, the mountains are green and the waters are green. Seen from a distance, it looks like a huge green ball. Surrounded by donkey streams, deep valleys, rocks staggered in the mountains, birds, cranes and herons with towering old trees. Blackstone Mountain was originally named Baofeng, and later named after the strange stone Blackstone. There are more than 500 rocks scattered all over the mountain, with different sizes, round and thick shapes, varied, abrupt and uneven. Strange stones such as Eagle Mouth Stone, Hangu Stone, Double Frog Stone, Erlang Stone, etc. have left a touching legend that has been told through the ages.

There are temples in the mountains during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and Jukui Academy, the only remaining Qing Academy in Chongqing, is the largest and most well-preserved. Chen Duxiu Liuyu Baisha-Henian Hall (Henian Hall) is a Japanese-style building imitating the Roman Opera House, which was then called the First Auditorium in East Sichuan. There are more than 70 calligraphy, inscriptions, poems and couplets by Guo Moruo, Feng Yuxiang, Yu Youren, Wu Mi, Zhou, etc. Meilin and Zijinlin are shaded by trees, including the tomb of Xiao Xiang, a historical figure in the Revolution of 1911, the tomb of Wu Zhi, a famous poet and founder of Chongqing University, the tomb of historian and calligrapher Deng Shaoqin, and the tomb of China painter.

The main scenic spots are Sichuan main temple, Baofeng Temple, five hundred years Luohansong, Zhangwang, Jukui Academy, Hangu Stone, Shizhuyang Building, Jiuqu Pool, Jingqiao, Jianzhi Pavilion, Night Rain Pavilion, Meiwen Pavilion, Henian Hall, Gulou Pavilion, Heqi Pavilion, Xiaoxiang Pavilion, Eagle Mouth Stone, Lvxi and Gaodong Waterfall.

3. Zhang Ziping Scenic Area: Located in Baisha Town, southwest of Jiangjin, Chongqing, about 20km away from Baisha City. There are hundreds of thousands of acres of virgin forests here, with boundless forests, inaccessible places and beautiful natural scenery. The altitude is 800-900 meters, the annual average temperature is 14.5 degrees Celsius, and the extreme high temperature is 37 degrees Celsius. Together with Heishi Mountain, Dayuan Cave and Tanghe Ancient Town, it constitutes an ideal tourist summer resort. 1995 was rated as Chongqing municipal scenic spot and listed as Sichuan provincial forest park.

Gunziping is named after it is shaped like a stone and inlaid with a flat dam. There are 4 lakes, 5 caves, 7 villages, 9 temples, 13 streams, 15 waterfalls, 50 strange rocks, more than 200 peaks, 1500 mu of bamboo forest and 40,000 mu of forest. The scenery in Zhang Ziping is unique, with dense forests and bamboos, quiet lakes and streams, beautiful peaks and caves, and beautiful waterfalls. Every hidden cave in the waterfall is known as "the hometown of water curtain cave".
