How many hours does it take to fly from China and Hongkong to New Zealand?

As an undergraduate majoring in English education in the College of Foreign Languages of Guangxi Normal University, I am fortunate to have the opportunity to study in New Zealand. After months of red tape and waiting, I finally boarded the plane alone on May 26th, 2005 and started my trip to New Zealand.

Although it is by plane (considered as the most comfortable means of transportation), it will not be easy. It takes about an hour to fly from Guilin to Hong Kong. The next afternoon I flew to Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand. The service of international flights is really good, but you can see from the flight attendants on the plane that foreigners are really bigger than petite orientals. After suffering on the plane for 13 hours, I finally set foot on the land of New Zealand. New Zealand's international airport is small, but it gives people a warm feeling. The floor is carpeted. This is completely different from Hong Kong's huge and modern airport. When I arrived in New Zealand, it was 9 a.m. local time, but my watch was still 5 a.m. Beijing time. Hurry up and set your watch to the local time so as not to miss the plane to Napier. It was discovered that I was having breakfast on the plane at 4 am Beijing time. That's the earliest breakfast I've ever had.
