The location of Eluanbi

It is located at the southernmost tip of Taiwan Island. It is located on the platform at the end of the Central Mountain Range. The tip extends overseas to form a peninsula. It faces the sea on three sides and has mountains on its back. It is the boundary between the Pacific Ocean, the Bashi Strait and the Taiwan Strait. The southern sea Ships must pass here, and its importance is like the Cape of Good Hope in Africa. The Paiwan people of Gaoshan tribe originally lived here, and Eluan means "sailboat" in Paiwan language. Because there is a stone in the sea of ??nearby Banana Bay, 50 meters high and about 40 meters around, which looks like a sail, so it was named "Sailboat Stone". And because it is connected to the Hengchun Hills in the north, connected to the mountains and surrounded by the sea, and protrudes like a nose, it is named "Eluan Bi". It is also famous because there is a large lighthouse here.
