In order to promote the high-quality development and high-level opening of personnel exchange services between China and foreign countries, China decided to try to expand the scope of unilateral visa-free countries and try out the unilateral visa-free policy for ordinary passport holders in France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Malaysia. During the period from 65438+February 2023 to 65438+October 30, 2024/kloc-0, holders of ordinary passports of the above countries can come to China for business, sightseeing, visiting relatives and friends, and the transit time does not exceed 15 days, and they can be exempted from visas.
From February 1 2023, citizens of China will enter the country visa-free within 30 days. This move is to welcome the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and China in 2024.
Matters needing attention in traveling to Malaysia
1. When entering Malaysia, foreign tourists need to show their passports or other legal identity documents valid for more than 6 months, valid visas and printed return tickets to immigration officials.
Before entering this country, foreign tourists must declare all dutiable articles to the customs. Customs has the right to ask passengers to open their luggage for inspection. There is no tariff on travel between East and West Malaysia.
In order to prevent the introduction of pests such as infectious diseases and parasitic diseases of animals and plants, the Malaysian government conducts inspection and quarantine on imported animals and plants. If you bring animals and plants into the country, you need to apply for an entry permit from the relevant Malaysian authorities in advance, and observe various inspection and quarantine procedures when entering the country.
If you bring cats, dogs and other pets into the country, you need to obtain the entry permit issued by the veterinary department of Malaysian government and the animal health certificate and vaccination certificate issued by the competent department of China in advance. Pets are not allowed to be taken out immediately after entering, and can only be taken out after a specified isolation period.
