Niangziguan related indicators

"Left hand refers to Taihang Mountain, right hand refers to Lvliang", located in Niangziguan, Taihang Mountain. It was once as famous as the corresponding Mengmen Pass in Liulin, west of Lvliang. As the saying goes, "women are locked in the east, and Mencius is locked in the west."

Mengmen Pass is located in Mengmen Town, Liulin County, Luliang City, Shanxi Province. It is an important pass to control mountains and rivers and has always been a battleground for military strategists. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, Zhao attacked Linyi many times, and it was not until the thirteenth year of King Wuling of Zhao (3 13 BC) that he "pulled me out". It is said that Wang Xiang of Qinzhuang once camped here. Sui and Tang Dynasties were the transportation hub between Suizhou in Hexi and Shizhou in Hedong. Longbao, the land of Mengmen Pass, was built in the early Song Dynasty and was once guarded by Yang Jiajiang. During the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, Liu Shanda, a military commander, also lived in this fort when he was guarding the Yellow River.

Because of its geographical location, Mengmen was a national metropolis with a "forest" in the Warring States Period. In the Western Han Dynasty, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty named Prince Xi of his generation Hou Lin; In the first year of Northern Zhou Dynasty, the elephant was located in Hu Jun (county); From the Yuan Dynasty to the early Yuan Dynasty, Mengmen County was renamed, and 1500 was the resident of the county. In history, Mengmen County, which spans some villages and towns in Liulin and Zhongyang, south of Sanjiao in Linxian County, all over wubu county in Shaanxi Province and all over Mengmen Town, is the political, economic and cultural center of northern Shaanxi and Jinzhong, and also the only place for northern minorities to communicate with Han people in the Central Plains. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Mengmen gradually changed from a military center to a commercial center. Today, with its profound history and culture, Mengmen Town has opened up tourism, all because of Mengmen Pass.
