In December 2021, Hubei Wudang Mountain Scenic Area will open normally. Now, as I answer this question again, October has passed and it’s already the New Year. s day. But at the end of December, I went there twice in person. Every time I go up the mountain, I say it is open normally. It's no different than usual. The scenery of Wudang Mountain is still very good and worthy of everyone's visit.

6. Wudang Mountain Scenic Area Website

As a Shiyan person, I have too much to say about Wudang Mountain. I often see polarizing comments about Wudang Mountain on the Internet. Those who know how to play say it’s fun, but those who know how to play don’t say they never want to come again. In fact, if you experience it yourself, you will understand that what others say may not be true. Why? Because this Wudang Mountain scenic spot is relatively large, with many attractions and ways to play, everyone has different routes. So some people think it's good and others think it's bad.

Let’s talk about tickets first.

Tickets for Wudang Mountain are currently 235 yuan. This can be indivisible, which is the fare.

It is said to be composed of: 130 scenic spot tickets, 100 scenic spot fares, and 5 insurance. There are a few things to note here.

Wudang Mountain is a group of mountains. It is not a separate mountain. There is a saying that there are seventy-two peaks against Jinfeng, which means that there are seventy-two small peaks around Jinfeng Tianzhu Peak. So the scenic area is very large. The entire mountain group is under closed management, and the quality of the scenic spots is relatively high. Basically, you won't have any regrets if you go there, but scenic spots are spread across all the mountains. Commuter buses are used to transport guests for free. The first time I went there, I thought the 100 yuan ticket price was scary. Later you will find that for 100 yuan, you can sit anywhere inside and go wherever you want.

Also, the tickets for this attraction are valid for three days. One ticket can be used for three days without leaving the gate of the scenic spot. After leaving the scenic area gate, if you want to enter again within three days, you need to pay a 20 yuan fare.

Wudang Mountain, if you want to take a day trip, you must go early in the morning. The time in one day is a bit tight, because there are so many beautiful scenery. It takes time to drive between scenic spots and even more time to walk.

Let's look at this painting again.

This picture shows the main attractions, which are distributed like a string of beads on each hilltop. The main ones are Mozhenjing, Taizipo, Xiaoyao Valley, Zixiao Palace, Nanyan and Jinding.

Every attraction here can basically be played for more than two hours. Especially Nanyan, this is a must. The scenery is so beautiful that you cannot imagine it. But there are certain physical requirements.

If you have enough time, it can actually be fun. After almost polishing the needle, we went to Prince Slope, Xiaoyao Valley, Zixiao Palace, and then to Nanyan. Basically you can play for a day. Then you can live up there and climb the Golden Summit the next day. Or leave the scenic area, pay 20 yuan the next day, and then climb the Golden Summit.

I have to say that the ticket for this golden dome is 27 yuan, and only accepts cash. As for why he charges, I think it may be the temple inside the scenic area, which is independent of the scenic area and belongs to the Taoist priests of Wudang Mountain. So there is an additional cost. The Golden Summit is a must-see. There are many landscapes you can imagine that I can't imagine. Maybe a few minutes, the sky is clear, and the next, it's very foggy.

Whether it is from Langmei Temple to Jinding or Qiongtai to Jinding, it is a relatively steep step. It takes two or three hours to climb. There is a forest landscape in the middle and not many architectural landscapes. You can take the cable car from Qiongtai, which is more energy-saving. The cable car goes up for 90 minutes and down for 80 minutes.
