Liu Liping Forest Park is located in Xinglong County at the junction of Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan-Chengdu, 50 kilometers away from Beijing/KLOC-0, adjacent to Wuling Mountain National Nature Reserve and Beijing Observatory, with a total area of 1500 hectares. Liu Liping Forest Park was designated as Houlong Feng Shui Forbidden Area in Shunzhi period of Qing Dynasty, which was exclusively managed by Qing soldiers and closed for more than 270 years. This park has high mountains, dense forests, clear water and beautiful rocks. There are more than 30 natural and cultural landscapes. The grotesque waterfall is a major feature of Liu Liping Forest Park.

Liuyuanquan Lake in the park is the source of the Liuhe River, which is an alpine lake with an altitude of nearly 1000 meters, rippling all year round. The mountains and rivers set each other off here and the scenery is pleasant. Climb the main peak of Liu Liping, looking at Wuling Mountain in the north, Qingling Mausoleum in the south, Miyun Reservoir in the west, and the monitoring station in the east. The vast forest is full of pines, standing in the wind, and my heart is full of old tunes. Because it has been dusty for a long time, the ecological resources of moving poles in the park have been well protected. At present, there are over 300-year-old Da Qiao native trees in the park, such as ancient oak, birch, poplar and linden. There are 100 years of cherry blossoms and 50 years of Huashan pine; Pheasants, rabbits and pigeons can be seen everywhere; Rare animals such as macaques and money fish also appear from time to time. According to statistics, there are more than 2000 kinds of movable poles in the park.
