Seek a self-help tour route. thank you

This is my pre-trip plan to Dunhuang last August. Because I was used to seeing famous mountains and rivers and wanted to feel the homesickness of the desert, I chose to go to Dunhuang. Hehe, it's the first time to send it online! I believe that no one is more comprehensive and systematic than mine, because it is a collection of hundreds of strengths. Huangshan Mountain is really good, with the momentum of being the first mountain. Maybe I went with a group before, and there were many people, so I didn't feel so much. ) We went by train, because there is only one airport in Dunhuang, which is said to be private. It may be late. Air tickets are expensive and there is no discount. The price is 1500. After several self-help tours, I found that it is most important to solve the traffic problems along the way beforehand! We visited Dunhuang-> Jiayuguan -> Xi 'an all the way and walked from west to east. If you start from Dalian, you can follow this order. Xi is a rough tour because it is convenient to change trains. But many people choose to go to Qinghai instead of Xi 'an to see Populus euphratica. . . . . . After all, there are many places to visit in Xi. For example, you can go to Huashan nearby for two days. However, because your partner couldn't take such a long vacation and didn't go to Chenghua Mountain, you only went to the most representative scenic spots in Xi 'an, such as Terracotta Warriors, Huaqing Pool and Wild Goose Pagoda. You will have a chance to come to Shaanxi again in the future. In this way, we will spend eight or nine days on the train (not including the time on the road, the time to play is two days in Dunhuang, two days in Jiayuguan and two days in Xi 'an). )。

Hehe, let's talk about booking tickets. We booked a one-day tour when we went to the ghost town of Ya Dan in Dunhuang, so we took their bus to Jiayuguan and asked them to help us book a flight from Jiayuguan to Xi 'an. After all, if you start from Dalian, you can only book tickets in the province because of the restriction of selling tickets in different places, so you can book tickets in this way. For example, if you choose to transfer at Xi, you can buy a plane ticket from Xi in Dalian before you leave. If you have acquaintances in Xi 'an, or ask a travel agency to help you buy a train ticket, you can buy a round-trip ticket between Dunhuang and Xi 'an. Because there seems to be only one train between Xi 'an and Dunhuang, I don't know how it is now, but the ticket is still very tight during the summer vacation in August. If you get the ticket, there will be no accident, and the travel time will be set, you will be relieved. As a reminder, when calculating the transit train time, don't connect the two trains too tightly, because it is easy to be delayed because of the long journey. Our bus from Shanghai to Liuyuan was two hours late)

Accommodation there is really cheap. We originally booked Dunhuang Hotel on Ctrip (address: 16 Mingshan Road). The location is ok. Telephone booking is more expensive, so it is cheaper to book online, which saves the trouble of bargaining. However, when I got there, the driver of the chartered car recommended a fire hotel. I don't remember the exact way, but it's actually the guest house of the fire brigade. It is right in front of the fire brigade, only 5 minutes' walk away from the rebounding Pipa statue in the city center, and only a few steps away from the famous Shazhou night market in Dunhuang. The key point is the price 100 yuan/bid. Because we don't have high requirements for accommodation, it's cleaner and we can have a separate bathroom.

I'll post the plan before Dunhuang departure first, because there are more than a dozen pages made with all the plans of Jiayuguan and Xi 'an, too many, hehe. The price inside is for reference only, I don't remember the actual price. In short, all the expenses for August and September were around 2700, because I used a student ID card, and the ticket price was discounted.

-The first day-

Morning: Arrive in Dunhuang-> Check in Hotel-> Mogao Grottoes.

Afternoon: arrive at Moon Spring in Mingsha Mountain around Mogao Grottoes -> 17, and watch the sunset at night.

Accommodation: Fire Hotel

Introduction of today's attractions:

Mingsha Mountain: Located at the northern foot of Mingsha Mountain, seven kilometers south of Dunhuang, with an area of about 200 square kilometers. Also known as "Shajiao Mountain". Located on the edge of Tengger Desert, together with Shapotou in Zhongwei County of Ningxia, Xiangshawan in Dalat Banner of Inner Mongolia and Bakun Town in Bakun Kazak Autonomous County of Xinjiang, it is one of the four famous mountains in China. The mountain is tens of meters high, more than 40 kilometers from east to west, 20 kilometers from north to south, and 1650 meters above sea level, just like two sand arms stretching around the crescent spring at the foot of Mingsha Mountain. This is for "Eight Scenes of Guo Huang" and "Sunny Shaling". Justin Sa's singing is a natural wonder just because people slide along the sand surface, which is called "the strange sound of heaven and earth, the wonderful sound of nature". When you slide down a steep sand slope from the top of the mountain, quicksand hangs on the sand slope like a brocade. If the golden dragon takes off, the song will follow.

-Crescent Spring: Shajing in ancient times, Yaoquan in common name, and Che Xiao in Yue Quan, the "Eight Scenes of Dunhuang". It's named because it bends like a crescent moon. China, one of the top 40 tourist attractions, is known as the first spring in the desert. The spring is in quicksand, the source is in Danghe River, and the drought is endless, and the sand does not fall, which is a spectacle. There are different opinions about it. On the one hand, this place is part of the original Danghe River bend and Dunhuang Oasis. Due to the movement of sand dunes and the change of waterways, it became an independent water body. Because of the low terrain, the water seeping from the ground is constantly replenished into the spring water, making it trickle and not dry up in the drought. This solution seems to be one of the reasons why it didn't disappear, but it can't explain why the flying sand didn't fall into the crescent spring. Unfortunately, in recent years, Danghe River and Crescent Spring have been cut off, so we can only use artificial methods to maintain the current situation of spring water. There are many ancient buildings such as Niangniang Temple, Dragon Palace, Wangyaodong, Yuquan Building and Leiyin Temple on the platform on the south bank of Crescent Spring, and the scenery is quite good. Feel the homesickness of "the desert is lonely and straight, and the long river sets the yen".

Venue: North foot of Mingsha Mountain, seven kilometers south of Dunhuang, Gansu.

Sunset time: It will arrive around 2 1: 00 Beijing time, but China is so big. This is the sunset time in August, and you can find it in May online. Originally in high spirits, I went to "the desert is lonely, and the long river falls into the yen." As a result, I set the mountain before climbing it. This is a great pity. Why is there such a result? I want to complain and remind you that if you want to ride a camel, many people may take you to Dongshantou first, and the Crescent Moon Spring is in Xishantou. As a result, when we arrived at Dongshan, we climbed the small ladder and went up the mountain to slide the sand. After coming down, we rode a camel and strolled to Crescent Spring. It's almost time to watch the sunset. We are going to climb the small wooden ladder over there, because it is said that this is the best angle to watch the sunset. Who knows that the small wooden ladder here was also built by those sand-sliding vendors. Whether it's slippery or not, it costs more than ten dollars to step on the small wooden ladder up the mountain. It's definitely "stay here and buy the toll." I have no choice but to step up the hill on the sand step by step, and slide down half a step with each step. It seems that I have never been so desperate to climb Mount Tai and Mount Huangshan. When I climbed halfway up the mountain, the sun also set. It's gray and fast! )

Ticket price: 120 yuan, Shasha 10 yuan.

Transportation: Bus No.3 fare 1 yuan, taxi fare 10 yuan (this is the taxi fare from the hotel to the scenic spot alone. Finally, we all chartered a car to take us from Mogao Grottoes to the hotel to rest. When it's not so hot, we will go to the crescent spring in Mingsha Mountain, and finally take us to the night market in Shazhou for dinner. The price is about 120 per bus. )

Friendly reminder:

1. If you want to slide sand, please close your eyes when you are near the bottom of the valley, and you'd better wear a mask, because the small bamboo raft will raise dust.

2. Mountain climbing: If you climb the sand mountain by yourself, it will take about 1.5 hours. In addition, you can choose to ride camels, motorcycles, mountain bikes, off-road vehicles and so on. To climb to the high point of the desert, you can also take a bird's eye view of the desert by human glider. Price: camel from 40 yuan/person (probably), with a fixed route, long-distance money increase, about 40 minutes. Motorcycle mountain bike, 150/ car, remote money, self-driving and staff driving, about 30 minutes. Self-driving off-road vehicle (2020), about 200-300 yuan/vehicle, can be driven by staff, the time is relatively free, negotiable. The humanoid glider seems to be 160 yuan/person, hovering over the crescent spring in Mingsha Mountain, and it is estimated that it will take about 10 minutes. The basic route is to cross the sand mountain.

3. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk from Yueya Spring in Mingshashan Island at the entrance. You can choose 10 yuan/Renren's electric car, and it takes 5 minutes to arrive. You can also go by camel.

4. Be prepared for sun protection and wear light-colored sun protection clothes. 10 yuan/Set You can rent a shoe cover at the entrance (you can lift your knees) to prevent sand from entering the shoes and also prevent sand from scalding your feet.

5. The best place to shoot Crescent Moon Spring and enjoy the sunset in the desert is the mountainside of Shashan next to Crescent Moon Spring, but the disadvantage is that there will be some backlight in the afternoon. In addition, the appearance of sunset must be registered with the scenic spot police station, and 20 yuan management fee must be paid, otherwise it will be expelled from the mountain patrol defense at night (actually, there was no such thing, and there were still many people at that time. It's just that there is such a saying on the internet, which is estimated to be aimed at friends who sleep on donkeys)

6. When you reach the top of Mingsha Mountain, you can bring back bottled sand. It is said that the sand here is the finest, softest and cleanest, and it also bears witness to strength and courage.

7. The temperature difference between day and night is large, so get ready for the sunset. In addition, back water, scenic water is expensive.

8. The desert is vast, don't run around, be careful to get lost. (Actually, it's not big, but I didn't have a concept before I went, for fear of straying into the Sahara. )

9. There will be a two-hour time difference with the mainland. You may have to prepare for the time difference when you first arrive in Dunhuang. (Fortunately, I took the train for one day and two nights before, and I had enough rest, but it will be reflected in the mobile phone conversation. 2 1: 00, my family called to ask if I had slept, and replied: it is not dark yet. )

-Mogao Grottoes: commonly known as the Thousand Buddha Cave, it is known as the most valuable cultural discovery in the 20th century. Founded in the pre-Qin period of the Sixteen Countries, it has been built in the Sixteen Countries, Northern Dynasties, Sui, Tang, Five Dynasties, Xixia and Yuan Dynasties, forming a huge scale, with 735 existing grottoes, 45,000 square meters of murals and 24 15 clay sculptures. It is the largest and richest Buddhist art shrine in the world. 1987, Mogao grottoes was listed as a world cultural heritage. One of the four largest grottoes in China. Mogao Grottoes is an art hall integrating ancient buildings, sculptures and murals, especially colorful murals. The cave is full of Buddha statues, flying clouds, geisha music and painted fairies.

Opening numbers: 16,17,328,329,323,320,419,420,427,428,55,6123,259. Special caves: 465,285,220,272,275,45,57, 158, 156,159,254,217,32/kloc-.

Venue: Mogao Township, 25km southeast of Dunhuang City.

Ticket price: 160 yuan, half price for student ID card, different ticket prices for special caves. It is said that 200 yuan is the most expensive. Storage fee: 2 yuan. (We seem to be free)

Opening hours: 8: 00- 17: 00.

Estimated time: it usually takes about 2 hours to visit the 8- 10 cave, and it takes about half a day to go back and forth. If you want to visit carefully, it will take a whole day.

Transportation: This is controversial. First of all, there are many buses arriving in the city and the railway station. The downtown Dunhuang Hotel is the starting point of the shuttle bus to Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, passing through Dunhuang Railway Station, and it takes 30 minutes by car. One said: There is no bus from Dunhuang to Mogao Grottoes. If you don't charter a bus, there will be a bus from Dunhuang Bus Station to Mogao Grottoes at 8: 00 every morning, and return around noon 12. One way 10 yuan, round trip to 20 yuan. The chartered car may be around 100 yuan. There is another saying: take a taxi to 35 yuan or so, the car is a little more expensive; There are also many direct flights between CMB and Mogao Grottoes in the urban area. If you stay late in the cave, you can take a minibus to pick up the staff after 6 o'clock, which costs 5 yuan per person.

Friendly reminder: 1. The light in the Mogao grottoes is very poor. It is best to visit in the morning and bring a flashlight. It's closed on rainy days.

2. It is forbidden to take photos, carry bags, touch murals and sculptures in the cave.

3. A group of 20-25 people must be guided and explained by a professional interpreter in the reception department (10 Cave). Don't go at noon, because they are eating and have to wait. After your tour, if you are still interested, you can go to other tours, but in fact, each tour is similar. )

It is said that the murals in Cave 285 are the best, and the stone carvings in Cave 45 are the best.

5. In case of bad weather such as rain, snow and sandstorm, it will be closed to protect cultural relics.

In addition, they took a bus to Jiayuguan and booked a train ticket from Dunhuang to Xi 'an. )

Accommodation: Fire Hotel

Introduction of today's attractions:

-Yangguan: the throat of China's ancient land transportation to the outside world, which was the only way for the Southern Silk Road. The Western Han Dynasty set off Guan, which was named after it was in the south of Yumenguan. Yumenguan and Yumenguan were both gateways to the western regions at that time. Wang Weiyou said: "Weicheng is rainy and dusty, and the guest house is green and willow." I advise you to drink one more glass of wine. It doesn't make sense to go out in the west. Together with Yumenguan Gate, it is called "the remains of the two customs" and is listed as one of the eight scenic spots in Dunhuang. At present, there is only one beacon tower site in Han Dynasty, which is called Yangguan Ears and Eyes. To the south of the mountain is the "antique beach". There are many ancient relics such as coins, weapons, decorations and pottery fragments scattered on the gravel flat between the antique beach and the sand dunes, which are widely distributed and can be picked up at will. Therefore, the local people have the saying that they "entered the antique beach and didn't return empty-handed". In addition, there are still some houses, farmland, channels and other sites. According to textual research, it is believed that the antique beach now is the location of Guancheng in ancient Yangguan. As for when and why Yangguan was covered up, there is no textual research so far. (I didn't go because the road was uneven)

-Yumenguan: Wang Zhihuan's "Liangzhou Ci": "The Yellow River is far above the white clouds and is an isolated city, Wan Ren Mountain. Why bother to complain about the willow, the spring breeze is only Yumenguan. " Yumenguan, commonly known as Xiaofangcheng, is located 90 kilometers northwest of Dunhuang City. According to legend, during the Western Han Dynasty, the beautiful jade in the western regions and Hotan entered the Central Plains through this pass, hence the name. There is saline-alkali land in the south, not far from Hala Lake in the north, the Great Wall in the north and the Old Shule River in the north. Guancheng is all rammed with loess, covering an area of more than 600 square meters. The wall is 245 meters long from east to west, 264 meters wide from north to south and 97 meters high. The wall is 37 meters wide, 4 meters wide under the east-west wall and 49 meters wide under the northwest wall, and it is open to the west and north. There are walkways with a width of 13 meters around the top of the city, and there are internal and external female walls. In the southeast corner of the city, there is a horse path with a width less than 1 m, and you can reach the top of the mountain by turning south against the east wall.

-Ya Dan Ghost Town: Ya Dan-Uyghur language, originally meaning mound with steep walls, is a wind erosion landform in arid areas. Yumenguan is 75 kilometers west of the city, 25 kilometers long from east to west and 4-5 kilometers wide from north to south. It is a ghost town. The overall scale and peculiar form of this Ya Dan landform community are rare in the world. On the whole, it is like an ancient city in the Middle Ages, with walls, streets, buildings, squares, churches, sculptures and so on. That's great. That's great. Different weather can enjoy different scenery of the "ancient city": at noon, the cyclone on the Gobi rolled up several columns of "lonely smoke in the desert" and ran around the "city". A mirage in the desert is like a vast sea, and the whole "ghost town of Ya Dan" seems to float in it, making tourists feel like they are in heaven and dreaming. As the sun sets, the vast sea gradually recedes, and the bloody sunset gives the ghost town of Ya Dan a touch of gold, and then turns orange, with a bit of mystery and solemnity in its brilliance, which makes visitors linger and evoke infinite reverie.

-Hechang City: "Pan Fangcheng", built in the Western Han Dynasty, is located in the northwest of Dunhuang, 20 kilometers west of Yumenguan (Xiaofangcheng). It is named after Shule River. There is a big Gobi in the north and south that is several feet higher than the castle, which makes Hezang City extremely hidden. Therefore, the ancients chose this place to build a munitions warehouse. There are two walls in the north-south direction of the city, which divide it into three warehouses of equal size and side by side. Every warehouse has a door facing south. It is an ancient, large-scale and rare munitions warehouse left over from the border defense of the Great Wall in northwest China.

Tickets: Yumenguan, Han Great Wall, Hezang City 40 yuan/person, Ghost Town 50 yuan/person, shuttle bus 20 yuan/person, Yangguan 50 yuan/person.

Transportation: It seems that we can only go by chartered bus, ranging from 500 to 800 yuan. After entering the ghost town, there is a special CMB, and the cost is included in the ticket. (However, the dedicated CMB only leads to the scenic spots on the main road. If you want to see the sign of the ghost town: rock shaking and feel the wind whistling in your ears, you need to include Neckip in another scenic spot, because this section of the road is not easy to walk and CMB can't drive, but you will never regret adding this project. Because what you want is that kind of desolate and inaccessible feeling. Of course, please do what you can in dusty weather, after all, there are risks. )

After the introduction of the two-day tour of Dunhuang, the following contents are some practical information of Dunhuang.

* * * * * Visit Dunhuang * * * *

* * * Eight scenic spots in Dunhuang: Guanliang Site, Thousand-Buddha Lingyan, Xianfeng Dongzhi, Dangshui Beiliu, Che Xiao, Yue Quan, night view of ancient city, embroidered soil, spring ploughing and sunny sand ridge.

* * * Dunhuang Night Market:

-Shazhou Market: Located in Dunhuang East Street, it is the best time to visit the night market after 10: 00 pm, and the night market lasts until 4: 00 or 5: 00 in the middle of the night. Set entertainment, eating and shopping in one. It is divided into several large pieces: luminous cups, carpets, colored sculptures, craft camels, luminous cups, Qilian jade, flying gold paintings in Mogao Grottoes and other exquisite handicrafts are dazzling; Snacks in various colors such as noodles with minced meat, syrup, stuffing cakes and mutton skewers in the flavor snack area make people salivate; Li Guangxing, Mingshan Jujube, Purple Peach, Fragrant Pear, White Grape and Yellow River Melon, the "Chaohai Guo Jia" in the agricultural special products area, are even more mouth-watering.

* * * Dunhuang cuisine:

Special snacks (price and location may be out of date, for reference only):

Yellow noodles of donkey meat-a plate of yellow noodles in 7 yuan. Donkey meat is sold by the catty. At the entrance of Xiqiao Farmers' Market in Dunhuang City (No.84, Miao Wen Lane, Dunhuang City), there is a donkey meat noodle restaurant, and the west entrance of the market records the donkey meat noodle restaurant.

Dunhuang stuffed skin-3 yuan a plate, sold in all streets and alleys.

Dunhuang minced meat noodles -4 thousand yuan a bowl, are sold in all night markets and snack bars

Cannon oil cake-a rare one on the street at 80 cents, which is sold in Shazhou market.

Paste noodles-4 yuan a bowl, night market and snack bar.

Apricot skin water-both on the street and in tourist attractions, the price of large and small cups ranges from 50 cents to several pieces. I personally recommend this. Cheap and good. It's a bit like sour plum soup when it's hot, but it's sweeter and more refreshing. As long as I see it along the way, I always want to buy a cup.

Netizen: The barbecue in Shazhou market is recommended by many people. There are many people in Dunhuang and Sichuan, and the diet is mainly Sichuan style. At night, there are mala Tang stalls all over the street. In addition, I recommend the snack street in the city, where you can find all kinds of unfamiliar pasta and a kind of gray bean soup, which is worth a try. There are some good restaurants near Tian Fei Hotel on Mingshan Road: the chicken in Muslim Friendship Hotel is very good, and the quantity is particularly sufficient. Others, such as John Information Cafe and Shirley Cafe, provide good western food.

* * * Dunhuang specialty

There are mainly handmade carpets, colored sculptures, craft camels, luminous cups, crystal glasses, craft calligraphy and painting, Dunhuang batiks, antiques and so on. Among them, sweet fruit and luminous cup are the most famous.

Dunhuang, known as "Guazhou", is rich in all kinds of sweet and delicious fruits and grapes. There are mainly Li Guangxing, Ziyang Peach, Mingshan Jujube, Yangguan Grape, Shaguo Watermelon, White Melon, Yellow River Melon and Dongguo Pear. Li Guangxing is one of the most famous.

In recent years, Dunhuang has developed a series of preserved fruit products, and people are always willing to bring some dried fruit products as gifts to relatives and friends. Dunhuang wine, Dunhuang mineral water and Dunhuang fruit drink are also very popular.

The luminous cup is carved from jade collected by Qilian Mountain. It gives off a faint light in the dark. "A glass of sparkling wine", this poem by Wang Han hits the nail on the head. Of course, wine should be tasted in a luminous glass!

* * * Dunhuang taboos

1. Seasonal fruits are gradually on the market, but we must pay attention to the right amount.

2. People who believe in Islam in most parts of northwest China don't eat pork, which is the biggest taboo in their lives and must not be offended. In addition, we don't eat the meat of dogs, horses, mules and other animals and the blood of all animals, nor do we eat dead animals. It's best not to mention political issues about ethnic minorities. And be careful not to say anything like "pig" in front of Hui people when you speak.

There are many religious ceremonies in ethnic areas, please don't stop to watch. If you enter the mosque chapel, it is forbidden to take pictures. Don't beat and scold the herdsmen's livestock and hunting dogs, so as not to cause misunderstanding. I didn't meet such an opportunity if I wanted to see it. Dunhuang is still dominated by Han people, and I don't think there is much cultural difference between Dunhuang and other inland cities. )

4. When spending, please look at the price first and negotiate the entertainment time before paying (it is best to bring your own change). When choosing food (goods), please don't pick it up yourself, but ask the merchant to help you pick it up. Snacks from individual food stalls can be tasted, but they can't be taken away or put into pockets. These habits must be respected.

In addition, when eating Chinese food, please don't invite ethnic minority friends to dinner. Please don't shake the water on your hands after washing your hands and face. Minority women don't shake hands with men.

* * * Equipment: ID card, student ID card, winter clothes (the temperature difference between day and night is large, long-sleeved shirts can also protect against the sun, and there is basically no tanning all the way down. ), pants, hat, disposable poncho, umbrella, gloves, sunglasses, eye drops, sunscreen, lip balm, compass (afraid of getting lost in the desert, in fact, there are many people, no matter what. ), knives, small glass bottles (originally intended to be filled with sand, but it was useless), flashlights, cold medicines, band-AIDS, wet paper towels, wind oil and other heatstroke prevention supplies.

Hehe, the two-day tour of Dunhuang is over, and it has been sorted out for half a day. I hope it helps you! In short, the strong, intense and open-minded feelings brought by homesickness in the west are still worthy of appreciation. Finally, I would like to remind you that it is still of great benefit for you to be good at using electronic maps in advance and check the guide maps of some scenic spots in the park.
