1. Capital Belgrade

The castle in the city center

This is the best place to walk, enjoy the sunset, climb to the top of the castle, no tickets required , you can enjoy the view of the Sava River flowing into the Danube River.

Ada

Ada is a lake formed after the Sava River was dammed.

There are deck chairs and sun umbrellas on the beach, and the water in Lake Ada is very clean

I can’t swim, so I can only stand in the water. The waters here are free.

Ada Bridge

When you are tired from traveling, you can go to the Ada Bridge to watch the sunset.

Skadariga District

An old coffee street, full of blooming flowers and street music.

St. Sava Temple

It took more than a hundred years to build and is not yet completed.

The basement is very gorgeous, it is recommended to go in and take a look.

KnezMihailova, Grand Duke Mihailova

The middle one provides free drinking water for pedestrians. (I shed tears when I think of buying a bottle of water in Switzerland for more than ten yuan.)

You can find almost all types of shops in Europe on this street.

Zemun on the banks of the Danube

Walk through the ancient stone streets, climb to the top of the tower, read your favorite book, and admire the red brick roofs and the slow-flowing Danube.

Danube River

There are many swans here

You can also enjoy the night view of the Danube River after finishing your meal at the floating restaurant.

2. Novi Sad

Svetozar Miletic Square in the city center

Summer city, don’t go to Novi Sad in winter.

Petrovaradin Fortress

It is very spectacular from a distance. Climb up and you can overlook the entire city, which is full of history.

The church in the city center

3. Nis

This is a city about ancient wars. If you are not very interested in history, in this You may feel bored in the small town, but if you like to dig into dark history, you can come and see it. When the Ottoman Turkish Empire invaded, a castle was built here.

Skull Tower

This is a must-visit place when you come to Nis. This tower is unique in the world. The rulers of the ancient Turkish Empire ordered to cut off the skulls of sacrificed Serbian warriors and build a tower.

"The Serbs contributed to the defeat of the Turkish Empire and the realization of European freedom."

4. The Uvac River

Meanders

This is also a habitat for vultures

The water color here also changes with the seasons and weather

It is beautiful to take pictures.

5. Drvengrad, a wooden village in Serbia

This is a famous movie village where "Life is a Miracle" was filmed. Almost everything here is made of wood, and there is even a wooden train that allows you to admire the scenery of Zlatibor Mountain.

Whether it is summer or winter, it is worth a visit here.

The people here are very friendly, and those who want to see handsome guys and beauties can come here. Miranda Kerr, for example, is of Serbian descent.

About language

Serbian is spoken here, but English is enough. What should you do if you don’t know English? Bring friends who can speak English to play here! A little Chinese here There are no tips, even the restaurants, streets and attractions are like this, but here you can really experience the purest style of a small European country.

About time

When to go? It all depends on personal preference. If you want to ski and feel the real Christmas atmosphere in Europe, you can go in winter. Those who like swimming and partying can go there in the summer, and those who like eating fruits can go there in late spring. Personally, I prefer spring or autumn. I think winter is colder and summer is hotter.

About budget

Look at personal consumption level. Some people only spend 50 a day plus accommodation in Thailand, and some people spend a few thousand a day, but the travel experience is different. It is the same in Serbia and anywhere, so I really don’t dare to budget for others. I also wrote clearly about the prices in Serbia. I only spend 2,000 a month in Serbia, but I stay at Maria’s house for food and accommodation.

About air tickets

Hainan Airlines has two flights every week. On Mondays and Fridays, the flights between Beijing and Belgrade will stop in Prague. It is not a transfer, but a stop. I know how to get off the plane, so I don’t need a transit visa. Some travel ticket purchasing software prompts that a transit visa is required. That’s wrong. It’s a crappy software. If you still can't find the flight, it means the ticket is sold out. The round trip fare should be 4,500.

For the rest of the time or if you are departing from other cities, you can take Aeroflot and transfer in Moscow. You don’t need a transit visa without leaving the airport. Aeroflot can fly from Guangzhou, Shanghai and other cities. The average round-trip fare is 4,000. I usually buy air tickets from the airline’s official website.

About public security

Serbia is safer than Italy. At least in Serbia I often walk around the streets at 1 a.m. and it’s fine. It’s very safe.

How to choose a flight?

There are currently no direct flights from China to Serbia, and you need to transfer through European countries.

1. Depart from Guangzhou, transfer to Dubai, Emirates, a five-star airline, single trip 10K+

2. Depart from Guangzhou, transfer to Istanbul, Turkey, Qatar Airways is also very good Airline, single person round-trip 9K+

3. Departing from Guangzhou and connecting via Moscow, Aeroflot is the most cost-effective route, and no transit visa is required when stopping in Russia! You can refer to this when traveling to other European countries. Since the visa-free policy had just come out at that time, many people didn’t know about it, so I bought a round-trip ticket to Serbia during the Qingming Festival as early as possible, which cost less than 4K per person including tax.

When transferring at a Russian airport, after getting off the plane in Moscow, you must read the signs clearly and do not follow the group out of the airport. The signs are in Russian, English, and Chinese! Prompt for transfer.

Special Notes

1. Currently only Serbia is visa-free. If you are traveling to Serbia during a European tour, be sure to check whether you have a valid Schengen visa for more than 2 times or other valid visas ( Entering Seoul is equivalent to leaving Schengen, and leaving Seoul to neighboring countries is equivalent to starting a new Schengen); in addition, you also need to check whether your passport is still valid for more than 6 months.

2. Check in advance whether the country where your flight is transiting requires a transit visa, whether the transfer back and forth is at different airports (there are two airports in Moscow, if you need to leave the airport for transit, you will need a transit visa), and whether the luggage is checked directly. (Usually it’s direct, you can confirm) to avoid being refused entry.

3. Remember the local emergency phone number (embassy contact number, police phone number) in advance. You can add the Ministry of Foreign Affairs official account (consular express, ls12308) in advance. Although personal travel is free, you need to pay attention to safety. It is impossible to be 100% safe. Remember to contact the embassy if you need help.

4. Buy insurance in advance, including flight insurance, luggage insurance and personal insurance. This is available in a certain store. On my return trip this time, I encountered a delay in checking in my luggage (I returned, but my luggage was still in Moscow). In the end, I picked up my luggage a few days late, so I bought insurance and got a claim.
