An essay on northeast folk customs
There are many local festivals in Jilin Province, among which Changchun Film Festival, Changchun Automobile Expo, Jilin Rime Ice and Snow Festival and Tonghua Ginseng Festival are more influential. These activities are organized by the government. The biennial film festival is held in the middle and late August, and every film festival is attended by well-known stars and celebrities in the film industry at home and abroad, which has attracted much attention. Automobile Expo and Ginseng Festival are mainly investment promotion activities. Wusong Festival is held in the coldest January every year, because only then is the best time to watch Wusong wonders.
Beishan Temple Fair is the first activity organized by the people spontaneously. Every year, it is held on the eighth day of April, the eighteenth day of April and the twenty-eighth day of April in the lunar calendar, with hundreds of thousands of people attending in several northern provinces.
Among the traditional habits of Korean people in Jilin, the spring outing on March 3 and the mountain climbing on September 9 are the most important ones that have continued to this day. On this day every year, people will bring rich food to mountains, rivers, parks or scenic spots for picnics and various recreational activities.
The wind burial ceremony of Olunchun nationality in Heilongjiang Province is mysterious and grand. After death, people should bathe the dead with ice, snow or river water, then peel off birch bark and sew a coffin. It is also useful to split a thick log in half, hollow out the upper and lower cavities, and then put the dead in the hollow log. After the deceased is buried, it is necessary to choose a place where two pine trees are about 1 m apart for wind burial. At a height of about 2 meters from the ground, cut off the trunk, put a crossbar on each of the two broken trunks, and then put the coffin on the crossbar with the head of the body facing southwest.
Before the funeral, the relatives and friends of the deceased came to make a fire in the burial place. They put the "three treasures" of the deceased-hunting horses, hounds and hunting knives next to the body, and then killed the hounds with guns. Finally, the horse hunters will be executed. When hunting a horse for execution, the horse's hoof should be tied to a tree, and a bright red purple fragrant flower should be inserted between the eyebrows of the horse. After dark, a shaman wearing a "magic suit" made of all kinds of leather clothes and hanging a steel bell around his waist suddenly jumped out of the crowd. At this time, the families of the deceased will bring three bowls of white wine to pay homage to the shaman. The shaman gulped down the wine, then suddenly picked up a big axe and jumped on the horse's head to pray silently. When the horse is unprepared, chop it to death with a big axe. Take off the horse skin, throw away the horse meat, wrap the horse's head and five internal organs with horse skin and hang them on the tree. When burying a horse, say a few words and tell it not to miss home and not to come back. If you can't afford to kill a horse, put the clothes worn by the deceased on the horse and walk around the coffin several times.
The longer the coffin hangs in the air, the better. If it falls, leave it alone.
Jiejinkou is one of the most concentrated settlements of Hezhe nationality. Hezhe people hold a "five-day public meeting" in Jiejinkou every three years on June 28th, which means "joy and celebration". At first, they gathered in groups of three or five, and later they appeared in the form of people from all over the world. At 1985, it evolved into a "Uzhgong" conference for ethnic gatherings.
The conference was held in Hezhe fishing village, which fully reflected the cultural life and spiritual outlook of Hezhe people. The main contents are literature and art (folk songs, dances and folk musical instruments), sports and cooking of landscape products. The meeting is in the season of beautiful scenery and fish leaping into the boat, and most of them appear in the form of open-air and spring fire parties.
The Red Beach Observation Meeting in Panjin City, Liaoning Province was held on September 5, 2006 in Shuangtaizi River Estuary, Dawa County, Panjin City. It is an important part of Liaoning Golden Autumn International Tourism Festival.
September is the best season to watch the "Red Beach" every year. Tourists from all directions come in an endless stream and gather in Panjin in order to see the grandeur and vastness of the "Red Beach".
"Red Beach" was formed by a large area of "Alkali Penglai" generated on the tidal flat of Liaodong Bay. This plant grows on the ground in April and May every year, and then slowly changes from green to red and from red to purple in September, like a huge scarlet carpet spread on a flat and wide beach with flowers in full bloom.
This kind of "red beach" only appears in the coastal beach of Panjin, which is not found in other coastal areas, while "alkali Penglai" also grows in other areas of Panjin and even other places, but it doesn't turn red and purple like here. Therefore, Panjin's "red beach" can be called "the mystery of nature" and "the wonder of the world".
There are more than 230 species of birds living in the area of "Red Beach", including more than 30 species of national first-and second-class rare wild protected animals such as red-crowned cranes and black-billed gulls. It is a national nature reserve. Rich natural resources and beautiful natural landscape, the magical "paper beach" is listed as one of the "top 50 scenic spots in Liaoning" and has become an international tourism boutique launched by Liaoning Provincial Tourism Bureau.
The landscape characteristics and tourism value of "Red Beach" have been highly praised by people in the tourism industry and listed as advanced tourism resources by experts and scholars. However, the ecological protection status of Red Beach is worrying. At present, experts are planning to build an eco-tourism area in the Liaohe Delta, maintain moderate development and maintain ecological balance, and make Panjin Red Beach an important eco-tourism area in the northeast and even the whole country in the future.
