Xitang is located in Jiashan County and belongs to Jiaxing City. There is no direct train to Jiashan in Hefei. There are three trains from Hefei to Jiaxing, all of which are starting trains and moving trains. The fare is 182 yuan. Train tickets can be booked online 12 days in advance, just get on the bus then! Take the shuttle bus from Jiaxing city to the bus station in less than 1 hour to Jiashan county, and then turn to Xitang! It takes about 40 minutes by car.

Xitang is not the only famous ancient water town in Jiangnan! Just because Xitang doesn't check tickets on weekends (but tickets are required to enter scenic spots), so there are so many young couples going! When you return to Jiaxing, you can take a bus to Wuzhen, the hometown of Mao Dun, another ancient water town, but Wuzhen is really dark and the price is extremely high! Prepare more money! Then from Wuzhen, you can also take a bus to Nanxun, a mansion in the south of the Yangtze River, and enjoy another elegant style of combining Chinese and Western styles!

Wuzhen and Xitang are under the jurisdiction of Jiaxing, and Nanxun is under the jurisdiction of Huzhou. Go to Xitang first, then Jiaxing, then Wuzhen from Jiaxing, and then take the train from Wuzhen back to Jiaxing to Hangzhou, the provincial capital. You can also visit the famous South Lake in Jiaxing and taste Wufangzhai Zongzi. The reason why you finally returned to Hefei from Hangzhou instead of going to Hangzhou first is determined by your travel experience! Hefei, as the capital city, must have a bus to Jiaxing, and the seats and departure time are relatively easy to buy and arrange. When I came back from Hangzhou, the reason was the same! As a provincial capital and a popular tourist city, there are as many as 20 trips to Hefei and only 6 trips from Hangzhou, so it is easier to buy seats or sleepers, not only the bullet train but also the express train, and the cheapest fare is 57 yuan! Visitors can freely choose the most cost-effective train according to their own situation and itinerary!
