The Yellow River flows through Baotou City for about 220km, and the tidal flat wetland covers an area of about 293km2, of which14.7km (7%) flows through the Rare Earth High-tech Zone. Xiaobaihe Wetland covers an area of10.92km2 (accounting for 4%), with a length of 6km from east to west and a width of 2.7km from north to south.
