Visit Chengdu by bus (Yongling, Qingyang Palace, Du Fu Caotang)
After passing the corner of Sandongqiao Road and Yongling Road, you can see the statues of 20 female musicians, each holding a different ancient musical instrument with vivid facial expressions, which plays a positive role in understanding the ancient musical instrument culture.
Go east along yongling road and you will find yongling. The cemetery is very small, and the underground palace is actually a hand-built dome-shaped hut, where the coffin is placed. Compared with the emperors in the Central Plains, it is a bit shabby. Nowadays, there are many pine trees planted above the mausoleum, and the spring flowers planted above the edge of the circular mausoleum are curved, forming an arc corridor around the mausoleum.
Leave Yongling, take a taxi, and you will soon see the unique architecture of Qingyang Palace from a distance. The subway in Chengdu is being built at the entrance of Qingyang Palace, and the whole road surface is isolated. Go around a corner and cross the road at the gap, opposite the Qingyang Palace bus stop. A few steps ahead, you can reach the main entrance of Qingyang Palace. On the screen wall next to the door, the four characters "Taoism is natural" are written.
When I entered the Qingyang Palace, I realized that it was not called Qingyang Palace, but was renamed Qingyang Palace when Tang Xizong took refuge. It seems to be the Royal Taoist Temple. Qingyang Palace, known as "the first Taoist temple in western Sichuan", is the oldest and largest Taoist temple in southwest China.
I am not very familiar with Taoist culture. A lot of knowledge about Taoism was first learned by The Journey to the West. Such as Taishang Laojun and Sanqing. Many times, people tend to confuse Taoism with Laozi's Taoism, which is also confused in this view. There is also the inscription of Laozi's Tao Te Ching, which is very magnificent. I'm still thinking in my heart, this "Taoist nature" should belong to Taoist culture, how to become a Taoist. Different sects, limited by their knowledge, can only pass by in a hurry and be a passer-by.
Passing through the Bagua Pavilion along the central axis, there is a plaque on the pavilion with a statue of Laozi inside. Behind the Bagua Pavilion, it passes through the Mixed Yuan Hall, Sanqing Hall and Doulao Hall in turn, and the Tang King Hall is behind. Beside the temple, there are ancestral halls and Erxian halls. It is the largest Taoist temple in southwest China. However, the vast Qingyang Palace is unexpectedly so quiet. Perhaps this is what Taoism calls the way of peace.
Out of Qingyang Palace, walk along Qingyang Street, and then visit Sichuan Museum on Huanhua Road. I rented an ear-worn lecture machine and hurried to visit the China Museum, Bronze Museum and Zhang Daqian's painting and calligraphy exhibition. I feel that the collection inside is a bit shabby. At least this is a provincial museum. However, it is not surprising that there are Sanxingdui site and Jinsha site museum in Chengdu, and it is not surprising to see such a scene as Chuanbo. The teenagers I saw at the door came in and out in droves. This should be the designated youth learning base in Chengdu.
Not far from Chuanbo is Du Fu Caotang. Compared with the deserted Yonglingmen and the sparse Qingyang Palace, the front of the thatched cottage is crowded and it is also a must-see place for Chengdu to visit Du Fu's thatched cottage. We went in from the north gate, not far from Du Fu's hut, and his famous "The Hut was Blown by Autumn Wind" was written here. I think Du Fu came to Chengdu to take refuge in Yanwu, and nobody was in charge of the pommel horse at the door. How many people can walk into his hut and sit down for a cup of tea? But now, Lao Du's family is full of people. Not counting his kitchen, but also into his bedroom and study, how many people can really understand Lao Du? That kind of noise, noise, laughter and Lao Du's situation at that time were out of place, and I left at a glance.
The most distinctive feature in the thatched cottage is the poems of thousands of steles, all written by some calligraphers, which are now engraved in the stele gallery, with great momentum. Every tablet has an introduction printed in standard Song style, for fear that people can't understand that kind of calligraphy, which is helpful to the popularization of calligraphy and the understanding of Lao Du's poems. In fact, as long as there are stones in the whole thatched cottage, Lao Du's poems are engraved, which is very cultural. This is a quiet place, but because there are too many tourists, how many people can study hard and understand poetry before inscription?
Enter from the north gate and bypass the thatched cottage in a hurry. I want to see the calligraphy inscription later, and my wife is a little impatient. Du Fu Caotang is too noisy. If such a tourist has been to Lao Du, can his old man still write those well-known poems?
