Transportation Guide

Because our children basically take a taxi to move every day, and because Singapore is so small, it usually takes 20 minutes to drive anywhere, and the one-way cost is about 100~150 yuan. Although it is more expensive than in China, it is much cheaper than in Japan, so we tolerate it. Taking the subway is about 15 yuan cheaper and very convenient. You can basically pay for a taxi with Alipay or WeChat.

Hotel Accommodation

The hotels in Singapore are great, but basically they are all expensive. Those with children recommend a room of more than 40 square meters. We only chose to stay at the Punch Ritz-Carlton for one day, and stayed at the cost-effective Fairmont for the rest.

The little story here is that we took a late night flight and arrived at Fairmont at 6:00 am. Generally, you can only enter the hotel at 3pm. Fairmont saw that we had children and took good care of them, so they let us in when there was room available. Thank you. In addition to its beautiful scenery, Ritz is also not very considerate. The price is twice as much as Fairmont 2.

One night we went to Tan Bin Island and stayed at Tan Bin’s residence (Picture 4). A 258-square-meter cabin with a private pool, awesome.

Food and Beverages

Basically there are many food streets and night markets next to the hotel. Personally, I think having more varieties and good prices is really enough. If you want to eat seafood, you can go to jumbo, black pepper crab is recommended. However, you should be aware of the current price, which can be expensive at times.

You can take a Ferris wheel ride at night to see the entire night view of Singapore. There is also an F1 racing track below. If you can choose to stay in Jinsha for a day, you can go shopping if you don’t have time. The most worth buying should be Hermès, TWG tea among teas. Once you get the gold medal, you will be intoxicated. The whole store is well decorated and the tea tastes very good. I bought this brand in Hong Kong and Macau, but Singapore is the birthplace. A real tea shop, from tea sets to tea leaves, is really great. Colorful jars are what you want.
