The development course of xiaomeisha tourism center.

Xiaomeisha used to be a small Hakka fishing village, with only dozens of fishermen and more than 100 people in the village.

1980, the Guangdong Communist Youth League Committee set up a youth holiday camp here and began to develop tourism by using natural beaches and seawater.

1984, with the approval of the Shenzhen Municipal Government, Shenzhen Special Economic Zone Development Corporation (now Tefa Group) acquired the holiday camp, obtained the development right of xiaomeisha seaside scenic spot, and established Shenzhen xiaomeisha Seaside Tourism Center (now Shenzhen Tefa xiaomeisha Tourism Center) to be responsible for its operation and management.

From 1980 to 18, the development of tourism in xiaomeisha has experienced four stages:

1. From 1980 to 1985, the total assets of the youth holiday camp at that time were only1000,000 yuan, with the highest reception of 25,000 tourists (mainly Hong Kong and Macao guests and tour groups) and the highest annual turnover of about 4.8 million yuan, which was characterized by high consumption and low profit margin.

2. From 1985 to 1990, xiaomeisha Hotel and Tingtao Hotel were built in xiaomeisha Tourism Center, and the fixed assets (original value) rose to nearly 70 million yuan (including about 60 million yuan for grand hotels and 6 million yuan for Tingtao Hotel), with an annual reception of 400,000 tourists and an annual turnover of 21.

3. From 199 1 to 1997, xiaomeisha Tourism Center cooperated with Hong Kong businessmen and invested 7 million yuan to renovate the resort, and then invested 5 million yuan in succession. Together with other assets, the fixed assets (original value) reached10.45 billion yuan, receiving 800,000 tourists, with the highest annual turnover.

4. From 65438 to 0995 (this is a special stage of development), Tefa Group and xiaomeisha Tourism Center jointly invested about 289 million yuan to develop and construct Ocean World theme park.
