Why do many Chinese people go to Russia for the first time but don’t want to go there a second time?

1. Language barrier

Most Russians generally do not speak Chinese or English. It is difficult for you to communicate with them and to experience the local culture.

2. There are almost no English signs in public areas in Russia

When taking the subway in Russia, there are no English signs at all in the subway. All subway stations are in Russian. The broadcasts, including the station announcements in the subway, are not in English. So if you want to take the subway there, you have to find a way to "match wits and courage" with them, and you can only do the language translation in advance!

3. Not eating well

First, Russian “food” is sweet and oily, and it is difficult for Chinese people to get used to it.

Secondly, they are prone to serve the wrong dishes. Although some menus are in Chinese, the service staff cannot understand them and can only read the Russian menu. As a result, what is served is not what they want to eat.

4. Poor accommodation

Russia does not pay much attention to their tourism industry and does not care about hotels. Five-star tourists cannot afford to stay in three or four-star hotels. Many of them are small, broken and expensive. They are basically not built and their affordability is limited.

5. Winter is too cold

The summer temperature in Russia is okay, 11-27℃, but the summer time is relatively short, and the winter is not good, the average temperature is -18℃ ~-10℃, all below zero. The average temperature in January in the Northeast is even as low as -50℃, which can freeze people into dogs.

Compared with the warm islands in Southeast Asia, Russia has basically no advantages in winter.

6. The consumption level is high, it is better to travel to several European countries

Moscow’s consumption level has ranked first in the world for ten consecutive years. Traveling to Russia except for the basic group fee (recently 10,000), as well as various scenic spot tickets that cost hundreds of dollars, hotel accommodation fees that rise sharply in peak seasons, etc., all at once, it costs more than 10,000 at least.
