Overview of scenic spots in Wulaoshan Mountain
It can be seen from many stone tablets that the Five Old Peaks once had a prosperous history of thousands of years, and there are also many anecdotes in folklore. In the Song Dynasty, Yang Ye stationed troops here to practice martial arts, and Sun Feihu, who surrounded Pujiu Temple, camped here. Taoist figures such as Zhang, Zhang and Zhang have many legendary anecdotes, which add to the mystery of the Five Old Peaks. Every year from the first day of July to the fifteenth day of July, there are tens of thousands of merchants and officials from north and south. The existing woodcut "Jade Pillar and Clear Peak Map" in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty and "New Scenery Map of Southwest Wulaofeng in Yuxiang County, Shanxi Province" printed in the early years of the Republic of China vividly depict the prosperity at that time. Until the Japanese invaders invaded, there were more than 40 teahouses and restaurants along the way, from Xiguan in Yuxiang, at the foot of the mountain to the top of Yuzhu. The temple in Yamaguchi and the Liyuan social drama were staged in turn, and the sound was lingering. Folk entertainment activities and games to meet the gods are very lively. Later, due to various reasons, the Five Old Peaks gradually declined and were little known.
The reform and opening-up has revived Wulaofeng, which has been listed as a key tourism development project of county, prefecture and province respectively, and was approved as a national scenic spot in 1994.
Fuxi is one of the five emperors in ancient times. He invented and created a theory of divinatory symbols to reveal the mutual transformation between heaven and earth, which is called the book of Hutuluo. This is the original work of Yi-ology. Zhou Wenwang's Book of Changes and the Chinese theory of the Book of Changes were developed on the basis of the river map and Luo Shu.
There is a history of about 3000 years from Hetu, Luoshu to Zhouyi. This period should be the creative dissemination period of Yi-ology culture. In this creative communication process, the multi-person system was formed in ancient times. From generation to generation, that is, the five old systems. Why should the Five Old Systems be passed down from generation to generation? Analyzing the reasons, the ancients should not only prevent the complete theoretical theories of He Tu and Luo Shu from being lost or misinformed in the single biography, but also constantly study and improve them in practical application and carry them forward.
Why bring five adults? In fact, this is closely related to the inherent nature of Hetu and Luoshu. In ancient times, there was a saying that "the number of days is five, the number of digits is one, and five people are in harmony". In the Principles of Generating Grams from Five Elements, heavenly stems and earthly branches's setting began with the machine of generating grams, while the machine of generating grams began with the five elements. The theory of the five elements began with the machine of phasing Hetu, Luoshu and Hetu with the left hand and Luoshu with the right hand, which determined the generation of grams, the possession of the five elements and the rise and fall of the sixty-four hexagrams. Zhu's book "The Book of Changes and Enlightenment" said: "The river map unifies 50% of the number with five numbers, and it is in the same place, revealing that everything is normal to show people, and the number is also the body." Luo Shu unifies four even numbers with five odd numbers, each in its place. Cover the change of yin and yang, and count it. The number of "River Map" and "Luo Shu" is five.
From the Five Emperors, from the Xia Dynasty to the Shang Dynasty to the Zhou Dynasty, about 3,000 years ago, Hetu and Luoshu were not lost, but they can be carried forward. The secret lies in the five old systems being passed down from generation to generation. The origin of Wulaoshan is precisely because Wulaoshan lived in seclusion, learned classics and preached Taoism, and often lived in seclusion. Therefore, the five old mountains should also be ancient "Tao" mountains or "Gua" mountains. Since ancient times, its meaning has been profound and extensive.
In ancient times, the five elders who studied classics and preached were called gods or immortals in historical stories. In astrological divination, they are the old gods starting from the green spirit, representing the east, wood and black. Shan Ling is really an old Buddha, representing the south, fire and red; Huang Ling, an elder, represents China, the earth and yellow; Ling Hao is an old Buddha, representing the west, gold and white; A spirit is mysterious and ancient, representing the north, water and blue. It is these five old gods who are sacrificed in the five old temples.
From this, it can be seen that Wulaoshan is an invisible place where Wulaoshan carries Buddhist scriptures such as river map and Luoshu, studies divination practice, preaches scriptures and spreads Yi-ology culture in the creation period, and is the cradle of Heluo culture.
This is the origin of the five old mountains in Yongji, Shanxi.
