Zhenyuan Ancient Town Travel Guide Zhenyuan Ancient Town Attraction Recommendations

Zhenyuan is located in southeastern Guizhou, Guizhou. Zhenyuan Ancient Town is known as "the key to Dianchu and the gateway to eastern Guizhou". It was built in the year of Emperor Gaozu of the Han Dynasty and has a history of more than 2,000 years. The ancient town is not big, so it is worth spending a day wandering around. Below, the editor will introduce the travel guide to Zhenyuan Ancient Town. Zhenyuan, one scene at a time

The Wuyang River surrounds the entire Zhenyuan. This time we went, the river was cleaning silt. Several excavators were working at the same time. The excavator master probably graduated from Lanxiang Advanced Edition. You can listen to music while operating the excavator. In the afternoon, I walked around the river near Zhenyuan, taking photos along the way. I felt so free and happy.

Shiping Mountain, climb up and look far into the distance

Shiping Mountain, it is said that the scenery at the top of the mountain is infinitely good, and you can see the entire Zhenyuan panorama. If the weather is good, you can choose to go up the mountain to watch the sunrise in the early morning or watch the sunset in the evening. Because the weather was gloomy and rainy that day, there was no sunset and there was very likely no sunrise the next day, so we had no choice but to climb up to see the panoramic view.

The mountain is very steep, the wind is strong, and there are signs of rain. It takes less than 40 minutes to reach the top! You will be at the top of the mountain, and you can see all the small mountains at a glance. The scenery on the top of Shiping is really great. Opposite is the green leather train that passes through the mountains from time to time, overlooking the entire town. The sky is getting dark at this moment, and you can see the twinkling lights on the river. Before it is completely dark, we take a quick photo and quickly Going down the mountain. Here I suggest friends that if the weather is good when you go to Zhenyuan, you can choose to go to Shiping Mountain in the morning to watch the sunrise. It must be good.

Consecration Bridge, Commercial Street

After coming down from the mountain, we arrived directly near the Consecration Bridge.

Cars passing through the old-fashioned road give the ancient town a heavy commercial color!

Qinglong Cave, ancient building complex

Qinglong Cave ancient building complex It is the only ancient cliff-adhering building complex in the world where Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism coexist in one and the same place. It is based on the mountain and the place, and is naturally integrated with cliffs, ancient trees, vines, rock banks and caves.

It was built in the 21st year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1388). It has 40 single buildings, covering an area of ??21,000 square meters, and the total existing building area is 6,665 square meters. It consists of Qinglong Cave, Zhongyuan Cave, Ziyang Cave, Wanshou Palace, Xianglu Rock, Zhusheng Bridge and other groups of buildings. Recommended route for visiting Zhenyuan Ancient Town

Recommended route: After entering the city gate, go right, do not cross the new bridge, and walk along the river to Qinglong Cave (it is a religious building, if you are interested, you can buy a ticket to enter ), after passing the Zhusheng Bridge, Sifangjing Alley leads to Shiping Mountain. There is a scenic trail. You can go up the mountain from here without the entrance fee to Shiping Mountain. There is a section of the Miao Great Wall at the top of the mountain.

Renshou Alley and Chongzikou Alley are must-visits. I recommend going to Renshou Alley and Chongzikou Alley to have some snacks, and then go up the mountain through Sifangjing Alley to overlook the panoramic view of the ancient town at dusk when the light is best. Then wait for sunset to take photos of the night scene, and then go down the mountain for a late-night snack.

Sleep in the next day and go visit Heping Village (a World War II prisoner of war shelter, free admission with ID card) or go on a cruise at Wuyang River Scenic Area.
