When you come to Shengsi Island, it is natural not to visit the two best beaches (sister beaches) in East China: Jihu Beach in the bay on the north side of the island and Nam Chang Tu Beach, located in the bay on the south side.
The two beaches are only separated by a Hutou hill. The beach has fine golden sand and a flat slope, making it a good place for swimming in summer. There are various recreational activities on the beach.
During the peak season, admission to Jihu Beach is 60 yuan/person, and to Nanchangtu Beach is 50 yuan/person. Entertainment items are paid separately. (Be sure to follow safety tips when going to the sea.)
