Anyuan County has a national scenic spot, which is the drinking water source for Hong Kong compatriots. Have you ever been there?

Anyuan County, located in the southeast of Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the upper reaches of the Ganjiang River and the source of Dongjiang River in the Pearl River system. Speaking of it, many people may not be familiar with it. Anyuan County is a Hakka gathering place and a poverty-stricken county with beautiful natural scenery and profound cultural heritage. Although there are many scenic spots, most of them are not well-known except the "Three Hundred Mountains".

Sanbai is located in the southeast border area of Anyuan County, at the junction of Jiangxi, Guangdong and Fujian provinces. Sanbai may be an ordinary mountain for many people, but it actually has special significance.

Sanbaishan is not only the watershed of Gongjiang River in the Yangtze River system and Dongjiang River in the Pearl River system, but also one of the birthplaces of Dongjiang River, which is the drinking water source for Hong Kong and Macao residents. Therefore, Sanbaishan has the reputation of "the source of Dongjiang".

300 Mountain is not the name of a mountain, but the general name of many peaks in the southeast border area of Anyuan County. It spans five towns and covers an area of 197 square kilometers. Now it is a national-level scenic spot and a national 4A-level tourist attraction. It is also the only tourist attraction in China that has certain commemorative significance for Hong Kong compatriots and is deeply loved by tourists from Guangdong and Hong Kong.

As a drinking water source, the ecological protection here is very good. The natural ecological scenery of 300 Mountain is unique. There is a subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest ecosystem in the mountain, and the forest coverage rate is as high as 98%. Walking into the scenic spot, people were deeply impressed by the beautiful scenery.

Sanbai is cool all year round, and it is a very good summer resort, but there are few tourists here, and it feels very quiet to walk into the scenic spot.

You can see a beautiful lake at the entrance of the west gate of Sanbaishan. Its name is "Dongfeng Lake". This is an artificial lake. You can take a boat trip here and wander in the lake. The scenery along the way is pleasing to the eye.

Walking on the sightseeing trail in the mountains is like being in a green world, giving people a feeling of "lost in the green field". Visiting 300 Mountain won't be too tiring.

If you are here for the first time, you can visit along the routes of Sanmen West Gate, Jiuqu Eighteen Beach, Yin Zhiquan, Yin Tian Song Qi and Sanmen East Gate. The whole journey takes about 3-4 hours. It is recommended to find a guide when traveling. Some roads in the mountains are difficult to walk.

The most famous scenic spot in Sanbai is the "First Waterfall of Dongjiang River". You can see from Yin Zhiquan along the steps that the whole waterfall falls as high as120m, which is particularly spectacular. You can hear the sound of waterfalls flowing in the distance. If viewed from a distance, the first waterfall of Dongjiang falls from the top of the mountain like the Milky Way, and the seasonal waterfall with heavy rain is even more spectacular.

The reason why 300 Mountain is not known to many people and not visited by many tourists may be related to its remote geographical location and relatively single landscape type. Besides being the source of Dongjiang, the only thing here is the natural landscape. If you come alone, it's not worth it. If you happen to be in Anyuan County, it's still worth a visit.

There is a glass plank road around the cliff and a glass bridge between the two peaks. Standing on the glass plank road or glass bridge, you will get a good view overlooking the beautiful natural landscape of 300 mountains.
