Has Guilin opened free travel to Hong Kong and Macau?

As of January 1, 2007, the following mainland cities have been included in the (Hong Kong and Macao Individual Travel Plan), and you can apply for (Hong Kong and Macao Individual Travel Endorsement (G)) to travel to Hong Kong (by yourself).

Guangdong Province, Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing (limited to 17 districts and counties), Nanjing, Suzhou, Wuxi, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Taizhou, Fuzhou (limited to urban areas), Xiamen, Quanzhou, Chengdu , Jinan, Dalian, Shenyang, Nanchang, Changsha, (Nanning), Haikou, Guiyang, Kunming, Shijiazhuang, Zhengzhou, Changchun, Hefei, Wuhan.

So now only those whose household registration is (Nanning, Guangxi) can apply for (Hong Kong and Macao Individual Travel Endorsement (G)) (self) travel to Hong Kong.

If your household registration is (Guilin, Guangxi), you can only apply for (Hong Kong and Macao group travel endorsement (L)) (participating in a group) to travel to Hong Kong. According to regulations, applicants who apply for the first time must (in person) Return to the exit and entry administration department of the district or county (city) public security (branch) bureau where your household registration is located to handle all application procedures/you can go to the designated travel agency where your household registration is located.

If you have (a copy of the invoice for the full travel expenses issued by a travel agency designated by the National Tourism Administration, and submit the original for verification), you can handle it yourself.

If it is inconvenient, please contact the travel agency designated by the National Tourism Administration in the place where your household registration is located.
