Why is it called Huayao on the Cloud?

Located halfway up the mountain, Chongmudang, the ancient village of Huayao in Longhui, is a branch of Yao nationality, so it is called Huayao on the Cloud.

In the northwest corner of Longhui County, in the tiger-shaped mountain where we are now, there is a branch of Yao nationality as beautiful as a flower. They "build blocks, dye grass and wear five colors." Their costumes are unique and colorful, so they are called "Huayao". Because it is located in a high mountain, the clouds are often halfway up the mountain, people are on the clouds, and the sea of clouds is foggy, just like a wonder, also known as "flowers on the clouds".

Huayao tourism resources in Yunshang are rich and unique, and folk culture is magical and mysterious. Sweet wine, cool mountain spring water, passionate folk songs and simple Huayao people, together with stone waterfalls, ancient villages, grasslands, canyons and clouds on the clouds, constitute the most beautiful "Huayao on the Cloud".
