I always think that the person who wrote this book must have written business statistics, marketing statistics and e-commerce statistics, but the subject matter is different and the content is similar.

In my junior year, the teacher of Tourism English asked us what courses you mainly studied. We learn everything by answering, which is very complicated; So what do you do after graduation? We can answer any questions, but it's unprofessional.

Indeed, regarding tourism, there are travel agencies, hotels, or companies that do tourism planning. However, one by one, hotels, waiters, foremen, managers and so on. Some people say that it is good to be a foreman after graduating from college, but unfortunately the hotel doesn't want it! Because you have no practical experience and management ability, the management courses you have learned are just knowledge. As a waiter? Most of them are children who graduated from junior high school, aged 17, 8 years old, and I graduated from undergraduate course, aged 23 and 4 years old. It's always a bit awkward to mix with them. Even if you can relax, there are not many opportunities to serve food, mop the floor and get promoted.

Let's talk about travel agencies. Many people first think of tour guides, making money, traveling every day and getting kickbacks. Yes, tour guides used to earn a lot of money. They explain the same scenic spots to the guests every day, climb the same mountains and get some kickbacks. But it's different now. The tour guide has no salary, no three insurances and one gold. Only by "fooling" can he get a small rebate. In the process of group travel, he can't eat well and sleep well, and there are various problems waiting for you to solve. Being a tour guide for a long time makes people "cunning". Moreover, most tour guides are children who eat "youth meals" after graduating from high school, so many people change careers, both successful and unsuccessful. Well, in fact, travel agencies also have a job called "planning", which is called "op" and "operator" in Beijing, which means operation. Elsewhere, the manager has been in charge of the travel team. It is divided into "op" and "sales" in Beijing. Sales is a kind of work, that is, taking a group and then giving the sales commission. Unfortunately, most of Beijing's tourism sales are telemarketing, that is, the work you can do as long as you can talk, not that the sales are not good, but that you can't do it.

There is also a travel planning company. However, most of these companies are established by some old professors, whose job is to make plans for a certain place and a certain scenic spot, for example, to make tourism plans for Haidian District and the Summer Palace. And most of the staff are required to be professional, in other words, they are all required to be architectural talents, environmental talents, artistic talents and so on. But they seldom need tourism talents because others don't.

Well, don't look for a job, go to the postgraduate entrance examination. However, most of the science courses of tourism management have a poor foundation, and mathematics is always the most difficult one, which is difficult to get into.

Then take an examination of civil servants and read the civil servant enrollment brochure. Few students want to study "tourism management" major, and some require a master's degree, only a handful.
