Baoshan Temple, also known as Ling Bao Temple, is the general name of the three major temples in Baoshan. It is located on the south side of the main peak of Baoshan, and consists of the Upper Temple, the Lower Temple and the Banji Temple. The main part of the lower hall consists of Shimen, Quanshi Hall, Wooden Hall, Wooden Right Hall and Dining Room. It is a temple integrating Buddhism and Taoism. The repair of Baoshan Temple in past dynasties can be studied.

1, Lu Bao: All-sandstone structure, quaint Gu Zhuo, with a unique couplet: Najiuzhou tribute, transforming the people. It means: Accepting state tributes and resolving the evils of all living beings is very important among folk temples in China, but Baoshan Temple is unique.

2. Quanshitang: It was founded in the 23rd year of Yuan Dynasty (1363, and the Yuan Dynasty perished in 1368). Its beams and columns are made of coarse materials, which conforms to the aesthetic characteristics of fat beams and columns in early buildings. Stone members are highly wood-like, beautifully carved and unique in style, and have high cultural, artistic and scientific values. After investigation by national experts, it is considered that there is only one in China. In 200 1 year, it was announced by the State Council as the fifth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

Panorama of Baoshan Temple

(1) Internal confession: In the center of the main hall, there are three founders, Long Zhichao, Chi-Tat Lau and Yang Zhiyuan, who are commonly known as the founders of Shan Zhi by local people.

(2) There is an inscription on the forehead at the top of the shrine in the main hall, which reads "Long live the emperor today", which is somewhat playful in humor. Whether it escaped the disaster of breaking the capitalism or not is still a mystery.

3. Ring the bell to pray: You can ring the big bell of the Hall of the Great Hero eight times to pray for the country, society, family and friends: the weather is good and the weather is good. Baoshan Temple, built in the 23rd year from Yuan Dynasty to Zheng Zheng (A.D. 1363), is made of sandstone and imitates wood structure. The worship of ancestor is closely related to Sun, a stone monkey. 3. The mystery of Yuan Dynasty-the reason for the formation of Baoshan Temple. Regarding the formation of Baoshan Temple, there are the following questions, which form a series of mysteries:

(1) The Yuan Dynasty ruled the Central Plains for only a few decades. During the reign, there were constant wars and social unrest, and the overall culture and technology were relatively backward compared with other dynasties. Why was the fourth-class southerner in 1363 (the Yuan Dynasty divided people into Mongolians, Semu people, Han people and southerners, among which Mongolians were the first class and southerners were the fourth class, which was the lowest class)?

(2), to build such a delicate completely wooden temple, where did the stone come from?

(3) The detailed features of wood structure buildings are perfectly reflected in the stone buildings of Baoshan Temple, and the proportion is moderate. How did craftsmen master this craft at that time?

(4) As a masterpiece in architectural history, how did the all-wood stone-like building survive all kinds of disasters for more than 600 years?

⑤. Incense burner couplet in front of the temple: Na Jiuzhou tribute, turn people into tribute. It means: accept the national tribute and resolve the sins of all beings. Who wrote the couplets and who has the ability to make such a big speech? Wait a minute. There are two local opinions about the formation of Baoshan Temple:

1. The craftsman said: According to legend, there are two good craftsmen in the local area. They are brothers in the same school, but they don't agree with each other's skills. One day, the villagers want to build a temple on the top of Baoshan Mountain. They want to invite one of their other disciples to build it. My brother said that he could build it into the most magnificent wooden temple in the world today. My younger brother has always refused to accept my older brother, claiming that building a wooden temple is not a real skill. You can build a stone temple exactly like a wooden structure with stones. In the end, of course, it was my younger brother who undertook this project and spent three years building Baoshan Temple with sandstone, which is a temple building completely imitating wood and stone. In order to prove that he is better than his senior brother, the younger brother imitates wood on the stone components of the building, and the detailed features of the wooden building are perfectly reflected in the stone building, with a moderate proportion. After finishing this masterpiece in architectural history, my brother also died of mental exhaustion. How did my younger brother finish this peerless masterpiece? Because of his death, it has become a mystery that can never be solved.

The uncanny workmanship of fossils is wood.

It is said that Baoshan Temple was originally a wooden temple. One day, the monk in the temple accidentally knocked the incense sticks to the ground and lit the cloth cover on the holy table. Seeing that a fire tragedy was about to happen, it was just seen by Sun who came back from playing outside. At this moment, the wooden structure of the temple was turned into a stone structure by magic, which saved Baoshan Temple from the fire. The black marks on the ceramic tiles of the temple are the marks left by the fire at that time. It is precisely because of Sun's magic of turning wood into stone that Baoshan has this peerless masterpiece in the history of architecture. In the northwest of Baoshan Temple, there is a huge stone, which looks like the head of a Beijinger.

According to legend, this skull is female and is the image of the Monkey King's mother. One day, she dreamed that she swallowed everything in the world. When she woke up, she felt sick and vomited, and finally spit out a big stone. After spitting out the stone, the stone she turned into because of fright became what she is now. The stone she spat out (the fairy stone on the top of the right front dragon ridge) absorbed the essence of the sun and the moon for a long time and hatched the Monkey King. Note: It is said that a long time ago, there was a 20-day flood in Mobei, Bao Zhuang under Baoshan, which caused a great disaster. People at the foot of the mountain prayed for the rain to stop and reported to the sky. When the Jade Emperor got the news, he immediately ordered Nezha to go to the mortal Baoshan to find out the disaster. And ordered to return to heaven in half an hour. Nezha stepped on hot wheels all the way to Baoshan, only to feel unbearable hot and dry, and stopped in front of this fairy stone to rest. Who knows that Baoshan has beautiful scenery, thousands of trees become forests, bamboo forests become shady, green mountains and green waters, strange peaks and rocks, and fairy caves and stone temples. The more he watched, the more lost he became. Strangely, this stone is full of cracks and gives off heat. Nezha wanted to stop for fun, but it was too hot. At this time, he had no choice but to count, and time was running out. Before he could go to Mobei, Bao Zhuang, he stepped on hot wheels and returned to the sky to report to the Jade Emperor: "Find out that the earth is not a flood, but there is no rain for a long time, and the rocks are cracked. Please ask the Jade Emperor to rain quickly." Hearing this, the Jade Emperor felt very embarrassed and asked the Monkey King to find out quickly. The Monkey King breath back to the water curtain hole. Who knows, just then, Tie Guai Li, one of the Eight Immortals, happened to scold: "It rained cats and dogs for 20 days, and flooded the stream (Fortunxi alias). The Jade Emperor sits in the Golden Temple, while Shu Ren hits the table and the two sides fall. " Hearing this, the Monkey King couldn't help looking at it with golden eyes. If the flood really made the people suffer, he replied loudly, "Don't blame the Jade Emperor for not helping the people, just blame Nezha's hypocrisy. The flood disaster is said to be drought, and the Great Sage will fight in the sky. " Before the Eight Immortals could bow, they flew into the sky in a somersault cloud. Half an hour later, the heavy rain stopped, the flood receded, and the weather was fine and sunny. The people were grateful, so in the Great Temple in Shibaofeng, the birthplace of the stone monkey, a statue of the Monkey King was carved in front of the Monkey King's brother's grave for people from all directions to worship. So now there is only one statue of the Monkey King in front of the two tombstones of the Great Sage Tomb.
