What does acg mean?

Acg, the acronym for animation, comics and games, is neither from English nor an English word, and there is no corresponding widely used Chinese translation.

The word ACG was invented by China people and Taiwan Province province, and it is very popular in the cultural circles of China. ACG culture originated in Japan, but it has never been used in Japan and is not popular in English-speaking cultural circles.

Terminology of ACGN Sub-cultural Circle: Two Elements

It means "two-dimensional". Early Japanese animation, comics, games and other works are all composed of two-dimensional images, and their pictures are flat in our view, so the virtual world created by these carriers is called "two-dimensional world" by animation lovers, or "two-dimensional world" for short.

At the same time, "secondary element" means "overhead", "imagination", "fantasy" and "fiction". In Japan, anime lovers refer to characters in anime, games and other works. Relatively speaking, "three principles" are used to refer to people in reality.

The word ACGN is widely used as the title of "overhead world" or dream world in ACGN cultural circle, but ACGN is not equivalent to the second dimension.

This usage began in Japan. The early Japanese animation and game works were all composed of two-dimensional images, and the pictures were flat, so they were called "two-dimensional world" for short, but "three-dimensional", that is, "the dimension of our existence", that is, the real world.
