Compared with before the epidemic, Beijing’s tourism consumption has shown a clear recovery trend.

During the 2021 Spring Festival holiday, the total number of tourists in Beijing recovered to 81.7% of the same period in 2001, and per capita consumption recovered to 63.5% of the same period in 2001.

Data from the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism show that during the 2021 Spring Festival holiday, Beijing *** received 6.632 million tourists, a year-on-year increase of 3.5 times; total tourism revenue was 4.25 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.9 times.
