Five modes of passenger transport

The five modes of passenger transport include shuttle bus, overtime bus, chartered bus, tourist bus and taxi.

Shuttle passenger transport refers to a mode of passenger transport in which buses run on urban and rural roads according to a fixed line, time, station and frequency, including direct bus passenger transport and ordinary bus passenger transport. Overtime bus passenger transport is a supplementary form of bus passenger transport, and it is a way to temporarily increase or allocate bus operation according to the lines and stations of the passenger bus when the passenger bus cannot meet the needs or operate normally.

Chartered passenger transport refers to a mode of passenger transport that charters passenger cars to users, provides driving services, travels according to the agreed starting point, destination and route, and collects fees according to mileage or chartered time, and pays the fees uniformly. According to its business area, chartered passenger transport is divided into inter-provincial chartered passenger transport and intra-provincial chartered passenger transport, and intra-county chartered passenger transport is divided into inter-city chartered passenger transport, inter-county chartered passenger transport and intra-county chartered passenger transport.

Tourist passenger transport refers to the passenger transport mode that operates in tourist attractions (spots) or at least one end of the line is in tourist attractions (spots) for the purpose of transporting tourists for sightseeing. Tourist passenger transport is divided into fixed-line tourist passenger transport and non-fixed-line tourist passenger transport according to the operation mode.
