May the young heart never change!

My husband found a documentary and shared it with me. This documentary is not new, but was filmed six years ago, in 2014, by a college student who had just graduated from the undergraduate program. It is called "Xingjiang".

His name is Kuang Lu. In fact, after knowing a little about the documentaries he shot, I think he might as well be called "Lu Jing" - he always likes to be on the road and will set off no matter what the road conditions are.

He is my fellow villager and a native of Jiangxi. He comes from a rural area in Shanggao, Jiangxi, and his family is not wealthy. It was not easy for his parents to support him in going to college. He had already passed the interview with the company that recruited him at the school, and his parents hoped that he would work conscientiously. However, he gave up the opportunity of a stable job and embarked on a long-dreamed journey, starting from Wuhan and riding a bicycle to Kashgar, Xinjiang.

His parents could not afford to finance his trip, and he never thought of reaching out to his family. I relied on my work-study program during college, working as a waiter in a restaurant, delivering takeout, and handing out flyers, and I saved 5,000 yuan in one day. He had 5,000 yuan in his pocket, a Merida bicycle worth several hundred yuan, and a travel bag as high as a hill. That was all his belongings.

This trip lasted 134 days and 10,248 kilometers.

Along the way, in order to save money, he only lived in tents, and when he was hungry, he could only eat noodles. If he wanted to take a bath, he could only jump into a cold pool; he had to look at the face of the shop owner to charge his camera and mobile phone. ...

In Kailash, an anoxic and alpine zone at an altitude of 5,000 meters, in order to save 100 yuan a night on accommodation, he decided to travel to the mountains overnight. That night there was heavy snow and wind, and the temperature was more than 20 degrees below zero. I almost fell off the cliff several times. By daybreak, my body was almost hypothermic and I almost froze to death. He really traveled with his life.

Despite the hardships, Kuang Lu also received help from many strangers and mutual support from fellow riders he met on the road. These were all truly recorded in his "Xingjiang" .

The films he made are full of the original authenticity, wildness, sincerity and love of life... A full-time photographer in the television industry watched "Xingjiang" and commented this way:

"I have been in the industry for five years and have shot a lot of material and made many documentaries. But after watching Kuang Lu's works, I realized how 'greasy' my own works were. I took just the right transition shots for myself I was complacent, but only now did I realize that a lot of 'human touch' was lost."

From a professional point of view, "Xingjiang" has many problems: the camera movement is single, the sound recording is unclear, and the picture is shaken. , the picture quality is blurry, but "Xingjiang" has a high score of 9.5 on Douban. It is his authenticity, simplicity and pure love that makes up for the lack of facilities and technology.

Maybe things in the world cannot be perfect like this. When you set out with a sincere heart and all the enthusiasm, you don’t have enough financial resources or enough skills. And when you have proficient skills, you lose your original intention.

If I could only choose one, I would choose my original intention. Financial resources and skills can be acquired gradually, but the original intention is that it is difficult to change the water in the sea, and it may be difficult to regain it.

So there is a sentence that really comes from the most sincere wishes: I hope you leave for half your life and come back still a young man. This is a beautiful wish, a piece of ice in the jade pot.

My husband and I watched this documentary filmed by a young man, and we were filled with admiration.

For a young man, the most important thing is to know what he really loves and what he wants. His value is far higher than those who are eager to become car slaves and house slaves after graduation, not to mention those who are clinging to their old age and using consumer loans to buy and buy.

I spent more than 4 months riding for 5,000 yuan and traveled more than 10,000 kilometers. I only spent an average of more than 1,000 yuan a month and more than 30 yuan a day. This boy is really heartbreaking and even more admirable.

During an interview, Kuang Lu’s parents admitted that they did not understand their child’s choice at the time and felt that what he was doing was “unreliable” and did not look like a serious job that could support themselves.

Many times, we measure our hobbies from a very realistic perspective. But in fact, there is a magical rule. As long as the matter is legitimate and out of true love, you will find a unique way and God will reward you. Perhaps, this is called "God helps those who help themselves", and God also wants the beauty of adulthood.

Therefore, when it comes to what you love, don’t judge it based on utilitarianism. Love with all your heart, love with all your heart, and embrace the world that belongs to you.

Today, Kuang Lu has become a full-time travel blogger. "Xingjiang" has already exceeded one million views across the entire network.

In 2018, the "Xingjiang" series will release a new film "Around Taiwan Island".

The 2019 "Expedition to the Western Regions" returns to Tibet.

There is also the "Nepal ACT" filmed this year which is half cycling and half hiking...

His equipment has also changed from the entry-level mountain bikes and cassette machines in 2014. It has become today's SUV, several professional action cameras, and its routes have extended from domestic to foreign countries...

Maybe what he does today is very different from his university major, but what does it matter? Before you find your true direction, there will inevitably be some detours.

However, as long as you insist on listening to your inner voice and move in the direction it calls you, you will surely become wider and brighter as you go!

In the preface of "Xingjiang", Kuang Lu wrote: "The wheels of time roll forward, the roads under my feet are getting farther and farther, the mountains and rivers are still easy to lose, but fortunately... the heart of youth This has not changed! ”

May the young heart never change!
