Scout Mountain itself is a fairly small mountain, only over 60 meters high. It can be completed in less than an hour and is very suitable for leisure with the elderly and children. If you just climb the Scout, you can buy a large ticket for the scenic spot for 10 yuan. If you plan to take the "Seven Mile Sailing Boat" cruise in the scenic spot, you need to purchase a combined ticket of 40 yuan (including scenic spot tickets).

Climbing Tongjun Mountain

When entering the gate of the scenic spot, the first thing you see is the statue of the old Scout, with a medicine gourd hanging on his shoulder and a bamboo leaf hat on his back. He is kind and has a good heart. In the Herb Garden not far from the statue, Chinese medicinal materials such as horse hoof diameter and wolfberry are grown, which are good medicines for treating diseases. After walking through the archway of Yaozu's hometown, you can officially start climbing. Among the green trees, you can see Ye's former residence (Fuchun Painting Garden), which is an Hui-style building with blue bricks, gray tiles, and a horse-head wall. You can reach the top of the mountain by walking more than 100 stone steps. The seven-level Scout White Pagoda on the mountain is the iconic landscape of Tonglu County. Take a photo here. Standing at the Siwang Pavilion on the top of the mountain, overlooking the two rivers, the clear water and waves merge into one at your feet, which is a bit poetic. 010 to 1010, not far from the Baicao Garden at the foot of the mountain, there is the "Qili Sailing" cruise ship dock. Compared with Yanziling Diaoyutai and Jiande's Qili Sailing Boat (both boat rides to the Fuchun River), Scout Mountain usually has fewer tourists. The cruise ship departs from Scout Mountain to the upper reaches of the Fuchun River, crosses the Second Fuchun River Bridge, reaches the First Fuchun River Bridge, and then turns back. The whole journey takes about 40 minutes. The departure time of the cruise is adjusted according to the flow of people, and it generally requires 5-10 people to sail. Therefore, during the off-season, it is best for individual travelers to call the scenic spot the day before to confirm whether there is a group available the next day to ensure that there is a boat available.
