Geographical climate of Tiechang town

Tiechang Town has a beautiful environment and a pleasant climate, characterized by no severe cold in winter, no intense heat in summer, and distinct cold and warm seasons. The terrain is mainly in the middle valley, with an altitude of 530-1150m. It belongs to subtropical monsoon humid climate, with an average annual rainfall of 990mm and an average gas 14℃. There are 98,393 mu of forest land, and the forest coverage rate is 63. 1%. Xiangjiang River flows through Hexi in Tiechang Town, caves, courtyards and Samsung, and joins Wujiang River at Samsung Ferry. After the reservoir area of Goupitan Power Station is filled with water, the river surface is more open, forming a beautiful landscape of mountains and valleys. Famous landscapes such as Samsung Factory Monument Group, Yijia Ancestral Hall and underground caves have added cultural details to the iron works. On June 4th, 1935, the Central Red Army crossed the Xiangjiang River from Yang Yan Ferry, Mao Zedong, Zhu De, Zhou Enlai and other central leaders entered Zunyi, and the Red Army Corps left behind Yang Yanhe, which constituted the southeast defense for Zunyi Conference. Therefore, Yang Yanhe Ferry, also known as the Red Army Ferry, has a steep stone ladder under Yang Yan Pass, overlooking the elegant view of more than ten miles, holding the cliff firmly to view the mountain scenery, and searching for the theory of sweating in the past. Unique natural resources are one of the most potential towns in Zunyi County, and a number of tourism development projects along the Yangtze River, such as boathouses, which integrate tourism, vacation and leisure, are under planning and construction.

Tiechang town has convenient transportation. Highway 205 runs through this town. Except Dongshang Village and Qingkeng Village, the other four villages in the town are all oil roads. Most of the roads in the town are paved roads, and some villagers are cement roads.
