Why are low-priced groups so cheap?
1. Attracting consumers at the cost price, the land agency only accepts the cost price when accepting the tour group, and even is willing to post money to the tour group to attract price-sensitive customers.
2. Choose tourists when organizing a group. In order to minimize the risk, low-cost groups will consider factors such as occupation, gender, age and region, and tour guides will use the potential comparison psychology of tourists from different regions to stimulate consumption.
3. False promises not to consume. When low-cost groups recruit tourists, they claim that there will be no shopping projects. However, these promises are mostly verbal and will not be written into the contract. Once there is a dispute afterwards, it is difficult for tourists to defend their rights.
4. Reserve money. Low-cost tour groups will ask tourists to put some money in advance for various reasons and promise to return it after returning. If tourists spend less than a certain amount of money in the purchase process, the money will be detained.
5. Reduce travel costs. Tour guides can save money by minimizing the standards of catering, accommodation and transportation.
6. arrange for kickbacks in the purchase process, and the land agency will generally cooperate with the shopping point, and the shopping mall will pay the travel agency a fixed head fee whether shopping or not. Shopping stores give rebates to travel agencies and tour guides to provide profit space for travel agencies with zero negative group fees.
7. Induce tourists to spend money. In order to shop, tour guides will use 18 kinds of martial arts to take advantage of tourists' trust in tour guides, and it will come naturally when they are induced to spend money in shopping stores.
8. Force tourists to spend money. If the induced consumption is not smooth, and some people are unwilling or explicitly refuse to shop, tour guides will generally use both complaints and threats, which is very insulting and abusive.
9. Add charging items. Some low-cost groups will add items to their itinerary and charge fees. They even take advantage of tourists' ignorance of the market to go to free scenic spots but charge entrance fees.
1. Invisible consumption. Tourists are asked to pay for tourist attractions in the name of praying to the Buddha and collecting donations. There are also some famous places that are madly robbed, fireworks parties or water-splashing festivals that are temporarily attended, and most of them have problems.
For example:
A one-day tour to 12 yuan in Suzhou, Jiangsu, a five-day round trip to Xi 'an, Sanya, and a six-day boutique tour to Phuket, Thailand, cost 1,6 yuan ... Yes, you are right, these are not as expensive as low-cost tour group advertisements! Is it "pie" or "trap"?
trap 1: the age of low-priced groups is limited, and surcharges need to be paid.
For many years, there has been an unwritten rule in the tourism industry to charge age surcharges for the elderly over 6 and teenagers under 18. This phenomenon often occurs in low-priced groups, such as domestic tours, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan connected tours, and tourism products in Southeast Asia. From the perspective of travel agencies, the mobility of the elderly increases the travel risk, and children and students have no spending power, which are all factors that affect the recovery cost and increase the royalty income.
In fact, it is clearly stipulated in the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Travel Agency Regulations that differences in age or occupation in the same travel team cannot be the reason for travel agencies to treat them differently. If you have been "hidden rules" or will be cheated, you can keep relevant evidence and file a lawsuit with the local tourism administrative department for compensation.
Trap 2: Friends who visit shopping stores frequently and stay for a long time
Those who often travel with groups must be very familiar with shopping stores! Like local products stores, watch stores, jade shops, and silk shops, let alone the quality of things, they won't let you out until you shop for an hour. Originally, I went out to travel with a pleasant mood, but I spent a lot of time visiting scenic spots on shopping. Take Taiwan Province's 8-day and 7-night tour around the island as an example, the maximum number of shopping shops can reach 7, and the stay time is between 1 and 1.5 hours!
In the Tourism Law of 214, it was stipulated that "supplementary agreements should be signed for shopping" in supporting the new version of the contract. For example, tourists need to make arrangements for shopping during their travels, and the time for shopping in the store should be strictly restricted in the form of supplementary agreements. Be sure to ask the tour guide for the relevant contract agreement!
Trap 3: Some black tour guides swear words and force tourists to shop.
It is obvious that customers are God, but there have been many domestic tour guides who abuse customers and force them to shop to a specified amount, otherwise they will not let out the door of the shopping store! In order to attract people and earn commission, some tour guides of low-priced groups will slander tourists with the words "You have money but don't shop, and I despise you", while others will threaten to close the small black house. Some tourists spend a lot of money to buy jade jewelry, but when they come back for identification, it is not the pure natural material mentioned by the merchants before buying. When asking for a return, the merchants will handle the return for tourists at a low price in the name of deducting the handling fee!
It is clearly stipulated in the Tourism Law that tourists have the right to choose their own tourism products and services, and have the right to refuse the compulsory trading behavior of tour operators. If the travel agency has forced shopping, it can complain to the Tourism Bureau, and the maximum penalty will reach 3, yuan, and the tour guide will directly change jobs or close down to protect the rights of tourists.
Trap 4: Routine in the scenic spot
Please tell your fortune, and some black tour guides secretly tell the fake monks in the temple scenic spot the basic information such as their names, ages, approximate clothes and looks. Tourists will "happen to" meet fortune-telling "monks" when they arrive at the scenic spot, and the fake monks will soon win the trust of tourists. "Monks" recommend places to buy incense to tourists. The styles of incense are varied and the price is sky-high. Such incidents occur from time to time in famous domestic scenic spots such as Lingyin Temple in Suzhou, Jiuhua Mountain in Anhui and Emei Mountain in Sichuan.
coax and cheat people to praise them all over the sky (for example, ethnic minority villages in Yunnan or Sichuan)
When you visit a folk village, you will be received by a beautiful local girl with a shiny whole body, take you to her house as a guest, listen to her talk about the situation of the village, focus on introducing her silverware, and praise whether there is anything underground in the sky. Finally, you will take out silverware that you call yourself "handmade" and tell everyone to sell it cheaply ~
