1. Gulangyu Island. Gulangyu Island is a small island without cars off the coast of Xiamen City. It is very small and opposite the Xiamen Island Ferry Terminal near Zhongshan Road. Gulangyu Island covers an area of ??1.87 square kilometers and faces Xiamen City across the sea. There are approximately 20,000 people and it is a very popular tourist destination.
