2017 Wuhan to Nanning and Beihai travel notice and detailed guide
Nanning and Beihai are both very good tourist cities. The climate here is pleasant, neither hot nor cold, and it has a special geographical environment and cultural landscape. The point is that the weather in Wuhan is unbearable now, but it is still very pleasant to go to Beihai Beach. Here I would like to share with you the precautions and detailed strategies for traveling from Wuhan to Nanning and Beihai.
Destination: Nanning Beihai
Number of days to visit: Nanning 2 days, Beihai 2 days
Number of people to play: 2 adults and 1 child
Cost: 8,000 yuan
First day:
In fact, we finally decided to go to Nanning Beihai, and there was a long struggle in the middle. We only booked our air tickets, train tickets and hotels online three or four days before we decided to leave. In the spirit of frugality, we booked a flight from Wuhan to Nanning at 7:50 pm. This time it turned out to be really awkward.
The plane took off on time at 7:50 and landed at Nanning Wuxu Airport at 9:40. The airport bus departed at 10:15 (bus tickets are 20 yuan each, and children do not need to buy a ticket if they do not occupy a seat). When we arrived at the terminal of the airport bus, Nanning Railway Station, it was already an hour and a half later. Fortunately, I made a guide online in advance.
It is said that it is very convenient to go anywhere near Nanning Railway Station, so the hotel decided to go here, so we got off the car and arrived at the hotel in about 10 minutes. We must talk about Huang Huang’s children. She's in good spirits and her mom is tired, so he's still jumping around. It was past 12 o'clock, and his father went out to buy barbecue. I'm too lazy to care about him, so I just let him jump around.
The next day:
The Sino-Vietnam cross-border waterfall (located on the Sino-Vietnamese border) is Shiming Garden. In fact, today, we really started to play. I booked a one-day trip to Detian Cross-border Waterfall on Meituan in advance. It is said that this is the first and fourth cross-border waterfall in Asia. Originally we were going to Guilin, but because I told my husband about this waterfall, my husband resolutely refused to go to Guilin.
The tour guide for the one-day tour sent us a text message one day in advance to tell us the time and place for the day's gathering. Fortunately, the gathering place is very close to where we live, only about 10 minutes' walk, so we didn't have to rush in the morning. It was around 7 o'clock and we got on the bus on time. I had carefully read the details of this trip on Meituan before and knew that our one-way trip from Nanning to Detian Transnational Waterfall would take about 4 hours. Because Detian Waterfall is the "Chongzuo" of another city, another detail is that this one-day tour only includes one attraction, the Great Falls, and another attraction, Shiming Garden, which needs to be paid for at your own expense. 160 for adults and 100 for children. I plan to go there. As for why you are walking behind me, let me tell you.
As the bus drove all the way, our tour guide also introduced us to the customs and customs of Nanning. He told us that Nanning is also a coastal city, but why is it not as developed as Guangzhou and Fujian? That's because they bordered Vietnam, and they were at war with Vietnam for a few years. They sacrificed their development for the sake of national peace.
We also saw many banana trees and sugar cane fields along the road. The tour guide said that they are the second sugar cane growing area in the country, specializing in sugar cane cultivation and sugar extraction. They produce most of the white sugar and brown sugar in the country.
As the car gets closer to the waterfall, we will see that many people’s car doors are closed. The tour guide said that these people rest during the day and work at night. As for what kind of work there is, there is a river across from Vietnam, which doesn’t feel as wide as the Han River. So at night, the Vietnamese and some people here would start doing business on the river using boats as bridges. This kind of business is commonly known as "smuggling"
The river in the photo is called Guichun River, and across the river is Vietnam (the houses in the photo are all from Vietnam).
After driving for more than 3 hours, we got off the bus and had lunch. At around 12 o'clock, we arrived at the Great Falls Scenic Area. There are many shops selling Vietnamese specialties outside the scenic area, such as rubber slippers, Vietnamese coffee, etc. As for the truth, it’s hard to tell.
The tour guide said that we would be given 2 hours to visit the waterfall, but this place really doesn’t need it. One hour is suitable because it rained a few days ago, so the water volume of the waterfall is quite large.
Behind this stone, you can see the waterfall. A little to the left of this stone is a descending staircase. Go down the stairs and it's about 120 steps to the end.
The left side of this photo is the waterfall in Vietnam, and the right side is the Detian Waterfall in China. Visitors can make a bamboo raft like the one in the photo and paddle under the waterfall to see it up close. No matter whether 20 yuan is big or small, there are actually some pitfalls, but still the same sentence, "all the way."
It is still spectacular when seen up close, and it is also one of the locations of "A Thousand Bones of Flowers" one! Originally there was a boundary marker here, but according to the tour guide, the Vietnamese pushed it here in May, and then our government blocked the road at the boundary marker, so now we can't see it.
But there are still such boundary monuments. I don’t know if they are called boundary monuments.
After seeing this waterfall, we went back. Anyway, it took me no more than an hour from the entrance to the exit, about 40 minutes. This attraction is really small. After we came out, the bus didn't come and the tour guide didn't see it either. We just walked around and then got really tired. We waited an hour to find a spot with shade and finally got in the car.
After getting on the bus and driving for about 40 minutes, I arrived at Shiming Garden.
As mentioned before, this place is self-funded, and most of the people in the car went there. I planned to leave before I came. Although the tour guide talked a lot in the car, I actually decided to go without telling him anything. First of all, this place is called Little Guilin and has beautiful scenery.
Secondly, there are many filming locations for TV movies, such as "A Thousand Bones of Flowers", "War of Shushan", "Journey to the West: The Kingdom of Daughters", "We Are Seventeen", etc. I also wanted to see what this place where many TV movies have been filmed looks like.
When we arrived at the scenic spot, we didn’t see the gate, but the tour guide arranged for us to board the bamboo raft. Yes, another bamboo raft, but this time the price of the bamboo raft is included in the 160 yuan. There are also cut watermelons, washed peaches, brewed Kuding tea, and peanuts on the bamboo raft, all of which are free to eat.
The bamboo raft is completely supported by the boatman with a long bamboo pole. Du Shimei at the stern of the boat will sing two folk songs for us, and the bamboo raft will slowly paddle through the mountains and rivers. From time to time, Du Shimei's singing and Du Shimei's flute could be heard from the shore. Suddenly there is a feeling that one is traveling in a world of pictorials. The green mountains and green waters sing, and the flute plays, my heart will calm down.
After sitting on the bamboo raft for about 50 minutes, we landed ashore. As soon as we landed, we saw a small house. That small house was the one that appeared in the first episode of "A Thousand Bones of Flowers" and was the location where the special effects of the fifty-cent purse were filmed.
There are also some ethnic minority song and dance performances in the Mingyuan. In fact, this kind of performance can be found in many places, it’s nothing special.
Before Canada, it took about 2 hours to visit the bamboo rafts in the entire Shiming Park. In fact, when we came out of the scenic spot, there was a small bridge next to the parking lot, and the bus was waiting for us there. However, we didn’t know it was a parking lot, so we didn’t even see the bridge. As soon as we came out, we saw a young couple in our group asking blankly where to take the bus.
As a result, the nearby staff said that a free shuttle bus would come to the parking lot to pick people up soon. A few minutes later, a bus came and stopped in front of us. The young couple and we got into the car naturally. As a result, the bus drove to the so-called parking lot, and we got off and met the girl who had just been singing with us on the bamboo raft. She asked us strangely how we got here. Our car was in the parking lot at the entrance of the scenic spot, and we were at a loss.
Fortunately, Amei was very kind and helped us talk to the driver, who took us back. Although we walked back and forth for a short distance, the scenery along the way was really attractive.
What is different from the inside of the scenic spot is that there is a village outside the scenic spot (that is, the road we took). It's already past 5pm. What we saw in the car was the setting sun, with rolling mountains in the background, and vast fields beneath the mountains. Farmers bowed and worked in the fields. There are cows in the fields and children playing in the fields. It feels more down-to-earth than the scenic spot.
Unfortunately, the car was going so fast that I didn’t have time to take a photo. It took us more than 3 hours to return to Nanning. It was almost 9 o'clock when we arrived in the city. After returning to the hotel, we freshened up briefly and then went out to find something to eat. Before going there, I mentioned in my homework that there are two famous snack streets in Nanning, one is Zhongshan Road Food Street and the other is Water Street, but Zhongshan Road seems to be more famous (every city has such a street.
) , we hailed a taxi from the hotel and went straight to Zhongshan Road. It felt very cheap to take a taxi from our hotel to Zhongshan Road for 8 yuan. Do you think a taxi in Wuhan will cost less than 10 yuan? The road along Zhongshan Road is very lively, similar to Jianghan Road here. It was already very late when we went, probably almost 10 o'clock.
But there are still many people on the road, and it’s not a weekend. When we stood at the entrance of the Zhongshan Road Food Street, I never imagined that it was almost 10 o'clock. At most I thought it was just one night with so many people and so much excitement.
You can take a look at the photos to get a feel for it. This is truly a foodie’s paradise. You can have it all. Just show the picture.
There are still many photos that I have not taken. I recommend the one I am holding in picture 1. It's called shredded coconut and is put directly into half a coconut. Cool, smooth and delicious.
It costs 15 yuan each. After eating the jelly, you can scrape off the coconut meat next to it and eat it. There is one more thing I want to talk about in particular. Nanning’s specialty Old Friend Noodles are similar to our hot dry noodles, but the taste is really sour and refreshing.
At that time I ordered a fried old friend noodles. I don't know what that is. Very sour, with a light sour taste. I bit the bullet and ate half the plate, but Huang Huang and his father didn't touch it at all. Later, in many places, whenever they smelled this sour smell, they would stay away.
We ate in the food court for more than an hour, then went home and took the same taxi for 8 yuan.
Basically our trip is over on the second day. In fact, all in all, Detian Waterfall and Shiming Garden are both very relaxing attractions. There was no way to go and no need to climb the mountain. More suitable for the elderly and children, but the distance is a bit long. Both places also have their own characteristics. The waterfall is elegant and pastoral.
The third day:
High-speed rail to Beihai-Beihai Silver Beach
On the third day, we will go to Beihai. This is the time for Huang Huang’s children The place I most want to visit. We live at Nanning Railway Station, but the place to take the high-speed rail is the North Railway Station, which is actually quite convenient. Our hotel was not far from the subway, so we could take the terminal station to the North Station.
Because there is only one subway line in Nanning, there is no trouble of changing lines. We arrived at North Station very early and waited for the train at the KFC at the train station. During this time, there is not much to say. We got on the train at about 2 o'clock and arrived in Beihai an hour and a half later. The high-speed rail ticket from Nanning to Beihai is very cheap, 58 for one person and more than 100 for two people, so the children were squeezed together with us.
Getting off the train in Beihai is really a lot of tourists. My strategy tells me that the North Sea is not big. A number 20 and 3 bus can basically go anywhere you want, but it turns out that's half true and you can go most places.
There is a bus station right after Beihai Railway Station. There are No. 3, No. 20, and No. 201, all going to Beihai Silver Beach. They are all terminals and have their locations. We took the bus for half an hour to get to Silver Beach. Because we thought our friends were here to dig crabs, we decided to book a hotel next to Silver Beach, across the street from the alley.
When we left our luggage at the hotel, our little Huang Huang couldn’t wait to go to the beach with the shovel and folding bucket we brought from home. In fact, there are swimsuits, swimming trunks, swimming rings, water guns, and shovels everywhere on the Silver Beach. There’s really no need to take them with you all the way. We didn't know that before, mainly because when we went to Xiamen before, there was really nothing to buy at the beach, so just in case, we brought it to him.
This ball is Silver Beach Park. In fact, this is not really a beach. The real Silver Beach Beach is just two stops ahead, but there are a lot of people here. Because there are hotels on the beach, you will find people wearing swimsuits and trunks all over the street, especially at night.
We spent more than two hours at the beach. Huang Huang's children were wet and it was dark. We decided to go back to the hotel, take a shower, and then go out to eat.
