I went climbing with my friends last summer. It was a good trip at first, but something unexpected happened halfway. A friend of mine suddenly felt a sharp pain in his stomach and couldn't walk any further. Nobody knows what to do. A girl tried to call her mother with her mobile phone, but there was no signal in the mountainous area.

England is the best place I have ever been. Everything is so beautiful. I stayed on the plane for about a day and a half. Then we left London for Cambridge, Windsor Castle, York and Stonehenge. They're great. Every town has a history of one or two thousand years. There is an art festival called Tutto in Edinburgh, and many street performers are keen on performing. Then we went to the north of Scotland. It is too dangerous! Then we went back to London and sat in the park. Those fat geese were so cute. That trip is the best memory of my life. I won't forget it.

My summer trip

I visited three cities last summer vacation. They are Beijing, Dalian and Hohhot.

I have been to Beijing more than eight times. Beijing is the capital of China. This is a big city. I am very familiar with Beijing. It takes one hour and forty minutes to fly from Nantong to Beijing. There are many tall buildings in Beijing. This is a modern city. My family visited the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, the Forbidden City, Beihai Park and the Space Museum. I went to the countryside in Beijing to go boating and fishing. Very interesting. I went shopping in Wangfujing. I bought many souvenirs and other things. I like eating Beijing snacks. They are delicious. Don't miss Beijing roast duck. It's really good.

Dalian is a beautiful city. Dalian is close to Beijing. I stayed on the plane for 50 minutes. Dalian is near the sea. I smell salty in the air. The road is clean. There are many trees and flowers near the road. There are many squares and Japanese buildings. There are some fountains in one of the squares. Some people fly kites and walk in the square. We went to see the beach and the sea. The sea is blue. There are many swimmers in the sea. I lay on the beach and looked at the sky. Dalian is a very livable place.

Hohhot is in Inner Mongolia. There are many prairies. The grassland is endless. The sky is bright blue. There are many horses and sheep. They are running or eating grass. I ride a horse on the grass. I picked some brightly colored flowers. We drank tea with milk. There is a small desert. When I walk on it, the weather is very hot. Sand can sing.

These trips have helped me broaden my horizons. I like my day.
