? Yuntai Mountain is located in Xiuwu County, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, 70 kilometers northwest of Zhengzhou and 80 kilometers in Xinxiang, with a total area of 240 square kilometers. It has eleven major scenic spots. It is a popular science eco-tourism boutique scenic spot with rich waterscape in Taihang Mountain, canyon-like geological landscape and long history and culture as its connotation, and integrating scientific value and aesthetic value. It is named after the steep mountains and the fog all year round.

? Look at the map, Xinxiang is 80 kilometers away from Yuntai Mountain. So we arrived in Xinxiang by train after fifteen hours of bumps. Decided to rush to Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area the next day.

? Depart from Xinxiang at 7: 00 am on May 4, and arrive at Wujiatai service area in Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area for about one and a half hours to stay at the holiday restaurant. After you have settled your luggage, you can take the scenic bus to Wanshan Temple to buy a group ticket with face activation and start a scenic tour.

Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area is divided into three scenic spots for ticket checking and face brushing. You can't enter each scenic spot once without going back.

The three scenic spots are Hongshixia Scenic Area, Macaque Valley, Quanwaterfall Gorge, Tanwaterfall Gorge Scenic Area, Cornus officinalis Peak and Phoenix Ridge Glass Plank Scenic Area.

It's nearly ten o'clock after the ticket change. We first took a bus to Hongshixia scenic spot in Wanshan Temple service area. Hongshixia is the landmark area of Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area and the most essential part of the scenic area. Most tourists will take Hongshixia as their first stop when visiting Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area. Walk along the plank road in the canyon for about 1.5 hours and visit the whole canyon. Hongshixia, known as the "bonsai canyon", stepped into the plank road in the valley, and red rocks came face to face. Because it is Danxia landform and the rocks are all red, it is named "Hongshixia". There are not only magnificent mountains and rivers in the north, but also beautiful water towns in the south of the Yangtze River. Walking on the plank road in the valley, looking up, you can see that there are cliffs on both sides and teeth are staggered. The trees in the valley are lush, you can see many waterfalls and streams, and you can hear the sound of waves in your ears, just like the beautiful green hills in the south of the Yangtze River. The whole canyon is also a geological museum, and rocks of various geological ages are distributed in the canyon. You can see Ordovician limestone 400 million years ago, Cambrian limestone 500 million years ago, and Mesoproterozoic purplish red sandstone 65.438+0 billion years ago. Zircon from 3.4 billion years ago can also be found in Bailongtan of Hongshixia, which is said to be the oldest rock.

Near noon, walk all the way from the entrance of Hongshixia, walk up and down the stone steps plank road for about two hours, walk out of Hongshixia scenic spot to Zifang Lake service area, and go back to eat and rest by car. Although I left the Hongshi Gorge, the Hongshi Gorge between the faults of hundreds of millions of years has been deeply left in my mind and memory.

While the weather is fine, I decided to go to the glass plank road in the afternoon. Get on the bus in the service area and go to Zifang Lake, then transfer to the bus in the direction of Diecai Cave glass plank road, pass through the steep hole on the cliff wall of 14, and pass through several tunnels with large angle turns to reach the entrance of the scenic spot. Starting from Zifang Lake and passing through Diecai Cave, the drive to the entrance of the scenic spot is full of excitement, and I can't help but admire the driving skills of bus drivers.

? There are two routes to the entrance of cornucopia peak scenic area, one is to climb to the top of cornucopia peak, and the other is to take the glass plank road.

Cornus officinalis peak, the main peak of Yuntai Mountain, is named after the ancient perennial aromatic plant Cornus officinalis. 1308m above sea level, with some temples and halls. You need to climb 1600 steps to reach the top and give up decisively.

The glass plank road needs to walk more than 2000 meters, and the round-trip roads are basically flat. It's more than half an hour's journey to the entrance of the plank road. 10 yuan buys tickets and then visits the glass plank road.

Yuntaishan glass plank road is located in Fenghuangling scenic spot of Cornus officinalis peak in Yuntaishan, built by the mountain, with an altitude of1080m. The glass plank road is U-shaped along the cliff wall, about 200m long and1.6m wide. Standing on it, you can overlook and look around the great rivers and mountains around you.

This scenic spot is divided into three parts: Monkey Valley, Spring Waterfall Gorge and Tan Waterfall Gorge.

The first thing you see when you enter the scenic spot is the Monkey Valley Scenic Spot. This is a small valley surrounded by mountains. The mountain blocks the cold wind in winter and becomes an ideal place for local monkeys to spend the winter. There are wild macaques in it, and you can also see macaque performances.

I have little interest in Macaque Valley, so I decided to visit the scenic spot for about an hour, and continue to visit Quanwaterfall Gorge and Tanwaterfall Gorge scenic spots.

? Tanzhe Gorge (also known as Xiaozhaigou) is the main representative of Yuntai Mountain Gorge. Located slightly west of the northern part of Yuntai Mountain, it is the source of Zifang River, the main river. The scenery in the valley is pleasant, just like Jiangnan. "Three steps and one spring, five steps and one waterfall, ten steps and one pool" is a true portrayal of the beautiful scenery of the pool waterfall gorge. Here you can enjoy the intimate and whispering lover waterfall; Water curtain cave, the four seasons are flowing, and the beads are hanging high; Harvest figure, where the grain is abundant and the six livestock are prosperous; There are dragon and phoenix walls, just like the butterfly stone of the fairy, and the Xiyan Lake worn by the inkstone.

Tanzhe Gorge is about 2000 meters long and the tour time is about 2 hours. It is the essence of the scenic spot. Known as Xiao Jiuzhai, the scenery is charming and I don't want to leave. .

? Spring waterfall gorge (also known as Laotangou) has beautiful mountains and rivers, overlapping peaks and steep waterfalls. Yuntai Waterfall, the highest waterfall in China with a drop of 314m, is at the end of Quanshui Waterfall Gorge. It flies down like a galaxy, like a jade pillar, very spectacular. Springs and waterfalls are high and straight, and the water is urgent and deep. Upstream along the canyon, there are many scenic spots, such as Kong Quan, Whispering Spring, Youtan and Yinlong Waterfall.

When you enter the scenic spot, a battery car costs five yuan to walk 1000 meters, and then walk 2000 meters to reach Guanpu Spring.
