What are some good poses for men to choose when taking photos?
In portrait photography, we can actually set the basic pose of the model in the initial state, and then make extended movements based on actual conditions during the shooting process.
For example:
- run
- sit
- stand
- jump
< p>- SleepIn each basic pose, you can make corresponding extended movements based on the theme of the photography, the photographer's ideas, and the model's state.
The following will use a set of my works to illustrate:
Basic posture - standing
In the above four pictures, you will find that the model is standing On the basis of this, extended actions were made, such as turning sideways with eyes closed and raising hands, opening eyes and looking into the distance, turning one's head sideways to look at the camera, etc. These were all extended based on standing and in line with the scene, mood, and needs of the photographer at that time. .
Basic posture-sleeping
In the above three photos, the model is sleeping on the ground. The model does not move, but I change the shooting angle, such as flat shooting, overhead shooting, and lying down. , resulting in rich sceneries and emotions.
Basic posture - squatting
In the same way, when we squat down, if we feel that we can only take flat shots, then change the direct distance between the photographer and the model to achieve the best scene. Be different and enhance the narrative of the story in the picture.
Basic posture - running
In specific shooting environments, the basic posture of running may not be used, but there is a special tip - if you are originally shooting I wanted the film to be lively, dynamic, and unrestrained.
Novice models are generally nervous when facing the camera, so you can let her try to run to warm up, and then take snapshots when she is running (at this time, there will be a high chance of a waste film, but mainly The purpose is still to make the model relax and not tense up the body and eyes).
Photos like these two are an extended action after running to warm up - tossing the hair to match the shooting scene and theme at that time.
Summary:
In portrait photography, many novice friends choose models because most of them are friends around them (meaning that they also lack experience in being photographed).
So in order to make the filming process not awkward and to produce good films.
It is recommended to make a few preparations:
1. Prepare 50 sample photos of the same theme taken by others in advance, which contain a lot of action references.
2. Send samples to the model in advance and communicate with them whether the specific pose can be achieved.
3. After arriving at the shooting scene, make extended actions based on the situation on the scene.
The above is my answer.
I am Cai Wenchuan, a photographer with a cat on my head. I hope I can help you.
