Jiuhuangshan Mountain is a 4A national tourist attraction. The specific attractions are as follows:

Jiuhuangshan Scenic Area (formerly known as the national AAAA-level tourist scenic spot-Xiqiang Jiuhuangshan Ape King Cave Scenic Area, wholly owned and managed by Mianyang Xiqiang Jiuhuangshan Ape King Cave Scenic Area Co., Ltd., which was completely damaged by the earthquake in May 12, 2008) is a new scenic spot restored and rebuilt by Beichuan Yunqiangzhai Tourism Development Co., Ltd. in May10.

The scenic spot is located in the hometown of Dayu and the only Qiang Autonomous County in China-Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province. It is only 58km away from Mianyang, the "China Science and Technology City", about 3 hours' drive from Chengdu and 4 hours' drive from Jiuzhai. The tourist link from Chengdu to Jiuzhai passes through the gate of the scenic spot.

Characteristics of Jiuhuangshan Mountain

The scenic spot is a typical karst landform with rich geological, meteorological and natural resources. The tourist facilities and equipment that have been built and run well include the cave landscape of Ape King Cave, Xiqiang Hotel, Yishan Hotel, Songshan Holiday Villa and the only Qiangzhai style garden resort with original ecological Qiang characteristics in China.
